William Hayes Barnett

Hayes,

I will never forget the day I gave birth to you. On July 6, 2012 our lives changed forever. My water broke at 3:30 in the morning, so your daddy and I packed up the car and headed to the hospital.

The moment I met you, after 14 hours of labor, I was just in awe. I couldn't believe you were my son. I had dreamed about you, thought about you, planned for you, but I could have never imagined how quickly I could have fallen in love with all 6 pounds, 20 inches of you.

Your daddy and I feel so blessed that God gave you to us and are honored that He picked us for this journey.

We love you sweet boy,
Mama and Daddy

Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth.
Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. Psalm 127

This is your first picture. You had the funniest look on your face and a sweet little cone head. All the nurses were smitten.

Here you are just 19 hours old. My sweet friends Kelli and Daniel Taylor came to capture your first moments.

Just one week old and the spitting image of your daddy.
