i just got back from a little getaway trip to utah! and it was so much fun! i really do love utah. it was a bummer not to have bren and the kids there, but it was fun to spend some time w/ family and friends!
it's become tradition when i come to utah, adri picks me up from the airport and we go to our fav pizza place, the pie! yumm-o! then we went up to bren's parents house to do some hair, and get some sleep! thanks annette and scott for letting us crash there! and thanks annette for coming to az to help w/ the kids while i was away!
my cousin andrew got sealed in the mt. timpanogos temple, the weather was full on monsoon style down pour, but when we came out of the temple it was a beautiful sunny day!

then it was off for a little sister/sister, dad/daughter bonding. we stayed in the springhill suites in slc

the next day we went to raging waters, my new fav place to go in ut. it's ghetto, but totally fun! my dad even did some of the crazy slides (i was nervous for his back). but it was a blast!
i've heard for awhile that the red iguana in slc is super yummy, so we tried it out and loved it! me and adri even went again before i flew home :). best chips and salsa and fajitas!
we went around and walked temple square and it was kinda hot, but oh so beautiful
the next day we went down to provo and stayed at another springhill and hiked the Y. my dad had never done that and i don't think i've done that for 8 or so years. it was a good time for me, i don't know about adri lol, and my dad thought it was fun too. we went at the hottest part of the day though, so it was a bit draining. and i'm still feeling it 2 days later. good times though!
that night we hooked up w/ kam and her girls, and my cousin summer, and adri's friend ryan at chili's. always good mems there since i worked there 10 years ago!

on sunday, we went to my dad's good buddy norm nemrow's son peter's homecoming. always fun to hear a missionary fresh off the mission speak.
on our way up to slc, we stopped by to see the geddes fam. always so fun to see them. they put on a great wedding and reception! so glad i could be apart of it. and grateful my dad, me, and adri could spend some time together. very fun weekend, filled w/ great memories, and good times! thanks for a wonderful weekend!
