cash turned 5 months on turkey day, but with the craziness we feed him rice cereal the next day.  he looks so big in his high chair.  we've had this high chair since carter, so it's cute to see them all in there.  he likes it ok, but does better w/ it in the bottle.  after christmas i'm gonna start trying veggies and other things too, so maybe he'll be more stoked on that.  cash is such a cutie and generally a really happy baby!  happy 5 months cash!

it started off as a blast.  the race and adrenaline was high.  then we went to craig's house for the thanksgiving festivities.  we ate till our tummies were too full.  but that night a wicked bug thru the air and all the visitors at my house got super sick w/ the stomach flu and the suman fam left early the next day.  mere was down and the next day scrub was super sick.  way buzz kill on the weekend fun!  hopefully new year's we can make up for the lost fun!  the boswell's hosted yummy food and we are so grateful to have them close by!  hope everyone throwing up didn't ruin your fun!

karis was trying to put together a group of us to do the mesa turkey trot for thanksgiving.  i am SO not a runner, but i am training to run a ragnar relay race in april.  my training right now is pretty low key, so i didn't know if i would be ready for a 10k run (6.2 miles).  the week before thanksgiving i decided i would run for an hour and see how i did.  so i ran for an hour straight w/o stopping and ran 5.5 miles.  i know that is super slow, but remember i'm not a runner.  i needed to pace myself.  since i didn't die i decided to do the race.  it was so much fun!  i loved the energy of everyone running at the same time.  i set a goal to run it in under an hour and 5 min and i came in at 1:03!  yeahhh me!  so much fun can't wait for turkey trot 2013 :).
