Christmas Day 2010

Good Morning! Kamdin and Logan were still fast asleep so we sent Presley in Logan's room to get them up:) Kamdin stayed in Loge's room Christmas eve!
"Are you ready to open your presents"
The presents Santa left the kids!
All the kids have been dying to have a "pillow pet" and Santa did not disappoint! Every time the pillow pet commercial would come on Presley would freak out saying PILLOW! So she was so excited to have her very own!
Kam got a unicorn pet and Loge got a puppy and Pres has a bumblebee!
Santa also brought her a cute lil stroller and a lil baby! She loves to play with babies right now. She pushes the stroller around everywhere!
Grandma Skeem got Presley a horse stuffed animal, she loves it!
Some LEGO'S, Loge has been playing them non stop! Growing up my brothers had tons of Lego's, so it's fun to get loge started on his collection!
Kamdin got Brydon a little cop set (dollar store is great) So now we have a new Sheriff in town!
Her is Miss Pres after dinner, and I would like you to admire this cute shirt that I found at Target for $3, well yesterday she got into Kam's hot pink nail polish and now this shirt is ruined! I love this sweet girl but she gets into EVERYTHING!

I didn't get too many pics I was filming at the same time so I couldn't do both, but she was so stinking cute, Love this girl, she is so brave and getting way too big!

I am really missing me some mountains, hek even hills:) Really, I am liking it out here! Someone told us of a joke, "Good thing about Oklahoma is if your dog ever runs away you can watch him go for the next 3 days";)
Crazy kids
Miss Pres, she wouldn't hold still, and then at the last moment Loge jumps in with his pretty scarf:)

Oklahoma City Memorial

Yesterday we went downtown Oklahoma City, and went to the Memorial. It was a real somber and humbling experience! Very amazing how they honored those whose lives were lost. It was a neat Memorial!
9:01 was the time right before the blast, and then the reflection pool is to represent 9:02 when the blast happened and time stood still. Then on the other side it has the same doorway that says 9:03 which represents time right after the blast!

This tree is called the survivor tree, it is really old, there are pictures of it dated back to the 1920's! This tree was in the courtyard of the buildings that were destroyed, this tree survived and still stands today, wow amazing! It is a beautiful tree
Had to get a pic by the tree!

By the reflection pool
The empty chairs! 168 of them, and 19 of them were small children! One chair had a woman's name along with her unborn son's name, she was pregnant when she was killed! Very sad! At night the base of the chairs light up, and during the day they almost look like they are floating. Each chair represents the lives lost!

This is a view of the moment after doorway, 9:03! Where this pool is, is where a street used to run through!

Very touching..................

Sorry I accidentally downloaded two of the same pics, and I was lazy and didn't want to start ALL over again!
They had these chalk board pieces on the ground so people could write messages to all those who aided in the rescue!

This about broke my heart. People put memorabilia up for their love ones, or people that come to see the memorial will put things on the gate! They have a marathon every year and a lot of people put there race tag on the fence, I really would like to run this race next year, its for a great cause!
