We have a name!

Jackson Tyler Beard

Yes!!! We finally have a name. . . There are many of you who know, but Austin is the one who named his brother. Apparently, he wasn't meant to be called anything but Jackson.

Jackson's latest sonogram is posted above. (I love the fact that I can now call him by name instead of calling him Baby Beard!) Anyway, at 25 1/2 weeks, he weighed 1 lb, 15 oz and was 12 inches long. Everything looks great. And now we only have 12 weeks to go!! CRAZY!

I also couldn't help but post the picture below of Big Brother. We found a pair of Ricky's glasses from when he was little. Is this Ricky Jr. or what?? I can't believe we will be having another one of these around the house soon.

Balloon Festival

Ricky and Austin watching the kites. . . those were really cool! I can't believe how synchronized the fliers can get those kites.

Austin got to drive this racecar that was sitting outside one of the booths. Yes, we spent a lot of time at this car. Once you get him in one, it's hard to get him out!

They even had train rides!

This part was really cool. They were in the process of blowing up one of the balloon's and Austin got to hold the tether while it went up.

The Truck and Gator

Austin loves riding his truck and usually he only gets to ride it in our driveway. But today, he got to go with Davis and London and ride in a huge parking lot where he could go as fast as he wanted!

Are you in suspense yet??? Let me just say to all you people who took the poll, only 17% of you were right. But thanks to everyone for taking it. It was fun!

Yes, we are going to have 2 little boys in our household. We are very excited and Austin is excited to have a brother! Now, we just need help on names!!! The great news is Maberry said everything looks PERFECT and we PRAISE GOD the baby is healthy. The baby weighed in at 12 oz and was 9 in long. Below are some of the sonogram pics.

Kauai

We had such a fabulous time on our trip to Kauai. 7 days of paradise in the sun with great friends, great food, and the beach. What more could a person want? I have posted a FEW of our pictures from our trip above. We drove the island from end to end, saw every beach possible, looked at amazing waterfalls, went tubing down a draining ditch, kayaked on the Wailua River (where Ricky and I flipped our kayak. . . TWICE!), went to a luau, snorkled, shopped and ate a LOT of food. . . some very good, some interesting! Also, the guys went boogie boarding (they are experts now by the way), where Ricky almost got washed out to sea. Fun times and great memories. As you can see in the last picture, we were very sad to leave! Ricky and I are already trying to figure out when we can go back. Aloha!

Random Pics

Here is Austin ready to swim at the Wylie Swim Club. He is now able to swim by himself with his floaties on and loves to go underwater!

Austin got his new canes on Tuesday. He looks so good in them and is now walking all by himself with them. Praise God! Ricky and I are so proud of him! Hopefully, I can post some video soon.

Another fun filled day at the lake with the Soben's. Austin loves riding the tube, going swimming, and riding in the boat. He can't wait for his next time to go!

BIG NEWS!!

Well, this post is WAY overdue, but our family has BIG NEWS! Austin is going to be a big brother. . . and he is very excited about it. I am about 15 1/2 weeks and am feeling much better than I was a few weeks ago. The baby is due Jan 22nd and I know it will be here before we know it. I wanted to post our sonogram pictures for everyone to see. It is just amazing how many changes there are from week to week. God is so good and we are so blessed to have this little one on the way!

8 week sonogram below - our little peanut

10 1/2 week sonogram below - the top picture, the baby is looking at us and you can see the arm buds and the last picture, you can see the baby's face profile. AMAZING!

14 1/2 week sonogram below - I can't believe how big the baby has gotten! The first picture is a profile of the head/face. The 3rd picture you can see the hand up by the face. . . maybe sucking his/her thumb?? And the 2nd and 4th picture. . . not exactly sure!

PDBC Easter Pageant

Every year our church puts on an Easter Pageant and this was our first year to be a part of it. It was truly amazing and Ricky and I loved every minute of it. I was in the choir and Ricky was an Athenian and Roman Soldier.

Easter

We had a Easter Egg hunt with all the kiddos in our Sunday School class and it was so much fun. Austin had a great time finding all the eggs!

We also had an egg hunt at my grandma's house in Brownwood, which we do every year. Below are some pictures from her house.

The Gator and Austin's First Date??

Austin loves to ride in Davis' gator. They had so much fun driving it around the block while Holly and I tried to get some exercise. I can just picture about 12 years down the road when that is a real car and they are cruising down the road to pick up some girls :)

Of course, it looks like Austin has already gotten the hang of that. . . Holly and I joke that this is Austin and Londy's first date. Aren't they adorable??

And what a gentleman Austin is. He even takes Londy out for icecream after a leisurely afternoon drive.
