The Beard Family

I will be 9 months old on Tuesday and my mom and dad can't believe it! I am crawling all over the place now. I follow everyone all around the house and LOVE to get into things I'm not supposed to! My favorite things are pulling on the door stops and putting the white caps in my mouth and pulling on any cord and electrical socket I can get my hands on. I can also pull up on my knees now and can see out of my crib when mommy and daddy come get me out of bed. (aka when I am screaming to get out of bed. . . :) I have 2 teeth now on the bottom and am waiting for my top ones to come in. I don't think it will be long. And also, I have found that I don't like to be in a room by myself. . . and definitely do not like Jasmine's loud barking when someone comes to visit us.

I love taking pictures!! Below are some fun ones I took of Carter and Averi. I love playing around with all the effects. . . AND I've learned so much in photo editing thanks to my talented and incredibly smart husband!! He actually edited the second one himself!

This summer, we got to take a family vacation to Florida! We rented a 12 passenger van and went with Ricky's mom and dad to a family reunion in Melbourne. We left on a Monday morning and then 23 hours (broken up into 2 days). . . we were there! The kids did really great. It was a much easier trip in the car than I thought it would be. . . although next time we go to Florida, I think we'll fly. :)

We did the family reunion thing, went to the beach, Kennedy Space Center, saw a movie at the IMAX, rode on an airboat, went to the beach some more and saw a lot of great countryside along the way. We had a great time. Below are some pics we took of the family on the beach and then a slideshow of all the fun things we got to do.

We have been to the pool quite a bit this summer and have had a lot of fun. Jackson took to water like a fish and Austin is getting more and more brave in the water.

I just turned 5 months old. I weigh 19 lbs and am about 26 1/2 inches long. I know I am such a big boy, but not as big as daddy! He weighed in at 20 lbs when he was 5 months. I love to walk around in my walker and look out the window. My door jumper is pretty fun too! I never like to sit still unless I am listening to daddy play the guitar! I am not quite talking yet, but like to have yelling matches with Austin. I can almost sit up all by myself and also got to drink from a sippy cup for the very first time. I love to eat (as you can tell by the pictures). I have liked all the vegetables and fruit that my mommy has given me so far. Not a picky eater yet! oh, and I LOVE to swim in the pool. Jackson has become a "mini me" for Austin. He is so cute. Austin loves to play the guitar. Below is a clip of him picking. I'd say he's pretty good for a 5 year old! As you can see below, Jackson is already starting his career as well. I am going to have a house full of musicians!

Who's who??? These pictures were taken at about the same age for both boys. Can you tell the difference?? Well, I think you can, but they are both pretty darn cute!

Time is flying at our house! Jackson is already 3 1/2 months old. He went to the doctor today and weighs almost 15 lbs!! He is a BIG BOY. Austin is loving being "big brother" and helps out all the time. Here are just a few pics from the past couple of weeks.

Jackson having tummy time. . .he can now roll over one way from his tummy to his back. In fact, he's been waking up in the middle of the night because he can't get back to his stomach!

Jackson was 3 weeks old on Tuesday. The time has flown by so fast. Austin is the perfect big brother. He loves to feed, burp, hug and kiss his little brother. He can't get enough of being close to Jackson. It is so sweet. We are so thankful to be blessed with our two boys. Here are some updated pics from the last few days.

And of course, he has to burp him too!
