This is Our Megan, she is the only girl. She lives in a Boy World. She Adores her Brothers, although they frustrated her at times, and drive her crazy on others. She is very comfortable in this World. To my dismay, her favorite attire is Jeans and T-shirts with Vans old school tennis shoes. Most days she wants her hair straight and if I am lucky she will put a clip or head band on. She doesn’t keep nail polish on, after one day is picking it off. She will only wear a dress on Sunday and then I am in control of her Hair. So needless to say we like different things and I can never pick out her clothes without her. But Oh would life be boring without her. She is my little partner. She has her Dad’s sense of Humor, and has one of the quickest Whit's I know. Upon our return from Utah and dropping off Tyler at the MTC. We came home to a child with a New Look. She has taken over on Tyler’s Hat. It was him and now its her Look. That is the one thing she staked claim too. I will admit it was very emotional for her to say Good-Bye. She is living in a world of Constant Coming and Going of Big Brothers. She doesn’t like it. But then if you ask her, She would say he better not Stay, this is what he is supposed to do. I love you My Little MaeMae. You make Our Home Complete.
Tyler is in the Provo MTC, waiting for his day to travel to Chihuahua Mexico. He is scheduled at this point for a departure date of May 21st. He is happy and excited and as you will see from these Photos, Happy! He is making the most of his time there, enjoying the learning and visiting the Temple. And just taking it all in. I forward his letters by email to family and friends. Its fun to share how he is doing with those that care. From his letters we know that is an Epic experience for him. (His Words) and that he just loving his time their. But anxiously waiting to get to work. We feel blessed to have him serve and humbled by his enthusiasm and willingness to serve Our Savior. I can’t express it enough, How blessed I am to be My Quiet Boys Mom. I Love you Ty!

Its that time of year again. He will. . .Prepare, Work out, Build Mental Strength, Build Physical Strength, Set Goals. And then we will Travel, Support, Help, Encourage, Cheer, and Comfort when needed. The Goals are set High, The Attitude is there, The Time is Now. Our Kyle will Run, Jump, and Fly. He will set new Records and He will find the Strength to Compete. We will be there just like we always are enjoying the moment. The Time was Now, the day was Good. It was March 21, at Los Osos High School. We had a Dual Meet with Etiwanda High School. The usually suspects were there, Grandpa, Megan, David, Trevor, Victoria, Myself, and a few others. Kyle was jumping Well, He was clearing Heights. We were all on the Edge of Our Seats. Oh Lets face it, I was Standing and ringing my Hands. He just tied the record at 14.6ft, the crowd cheered. Now it was set at 14.9ft to set the New Record. Over the Loud Speaker the Announcer States that He has already cleared and set a New Record. The Stress builds, now the Pressure is Bigger, because before his first attempt had been made it was announced. He gets set, He Runs, He Jumps, and Boy did he Fly. . . The Record is set and now there is a New Holder of it, His name is Kyle Gary Beck. He holds the New Pole Vault Record. The Crowd Yell, The Announcer States, “that the New Record was Set and Boy He was over it by at least a Foot!” It was amazing. What a Great Day! You Go Ky, We love to see you Fly.

These are pictures at the Provo Temple. We walked around for a bit before. It was a quiet morning, very calm. The pictures are a little out of order, the ones at the bottom are of the morning before we headed out. One last picture of Kevin and Tyler. We had a good morning, it was too long for Tyler and not long enough for Me. But it was good to spend these last few hours together. But I truly wasn’t prepared for the emotions that would follow me that day. I mean we have done this before, I knew what it would be like to drop him off. But boy this was hard, harder than I thought it would be. Not at all, like I was sad. Just knowing how long it will be before we see him. And time just doesn’t go fast for Mom. I am so blessed to be this kids Mom. He is a truly good Boy. He is a thinker and quiet and shy. But also determined to learn and figure things out. He is my Black and White child, always has been. There is no gray area. He is a hard worker and very determined to master what ever task is placed before him. I love you Tyler, and although I feel a tug at my heart. I could not be more proud of you. You are a great example to me. Your Strength is amazing. The light that comes from you touches all who is within reach. You are in my heart and prayers daily. I love you!
