I know every month I say the same thing---I can't believe Aydan is 5 months old already! Time really flies by and I know the older he is getting.....the older I am getting! Ahhh---Well, the A-man just started eating bananas, apples, and green beans. He really likes bananas , the apples he likes mixed with cereal, and he LOVES green beans! Hooray! I am homemaking his baby food from fresh fruits and veggies and it is so much fun---not to mention cheaper! He is going to be a good eater like his daddy. He is SO interested in our food. I was eating a piece of toast the other day and had him on my hip. The next thing I know he is going for my toast, mouth wide open! It was too funny! He is doing well trying to sit up by himself----he still needs assistance but he is getting and better everyday! We got him an Exersaucer a few weeks ago and that is helping him build those back muscles. He is really enjoying the toys on it, too! The first time he sat in it, he looked up at me as if to say, "Where am I?" Now, he just goes to town exploring. He is now rolling from his tummy to his back like a pro and thinks that his feet are really cool. I think he JUST noticed them. He is 'talking' more and more everyday and is making new sounds. He is starting to get a little more wriggly during bath time and while on the changing table. He has loud explosions of excitement followed by kicks and crazy arms throughout the day----I LOVE them! We are having so much fun with him and love when he learns new tricks! David and I are well. Only 4 more weeks of school and I am off for the summer! I am looking forward to the break.
