Our Little Stinker

Don't ask me what I was thinking when I didn't make absolutely sure that Aydan got at least one good nap in Halloween day. He was a bit grouchy after we wrestled him into his skunk costume then tried hopelessly to get him to smile for the camera. He was still stinkin' cute! I had his pictures done the day before at the portrait studio and he smiled for those, so all is well. I will post those pictures when they come in.

Ric Comes to Town

My oldest brother, Ric, came in for a visit last night. He had some Navy business in Pensacola overnight and drove in for dinner. Although our visit was short we enjoyed it and hope to see him again soon.

Pumpkin Patch Baby

We visited the pumpkin patch the other day. Aydan LOVED it! He crawled around from pumpkin to pumpkin for almost half an hour. He even found a white pumpkin and made sounds and gestures as if to tell me that one was different from the rest. We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again next year.

11 months..........Seriously?

Wow.....11 months already! I can not believe Aydan's first birthday is around the corner! Time does go by so fast. Mr. Man is doing GREAT! His 2 top central incisors cut through this past week and the lateral incisors on the top are making their way down. Poor guy....I know it doesn't feel good. He is still the good little eater that I'd hoped he be----maybe better than he needs to be! This child can EAT!!! I have no idea where it goes. I just recently heard the phrase 'He has a peg leg'! He could out eat me if I let him. It is amazing the things he understands now. Just recently he picked out the 'cat' and the 'frog' from his squirty bath toys. We are working on the rest :) During this past month he started pointing at things---I LOVE it! His little fingers are so cute! He is standing for a few seconds on his own though he doesn't like it. He likes to hold on. I am obsessively searching for the perfect Halloween costume. I have found a few that I really like but they are too warm for our muggy Mississippi weather. David and I are doing well. David has been working a lot in Baton Rouge--we miss him! His foot is all healed up and is back to normal (yay!). He is so wonderful. I just celebrated my 29th birthday (geesh!). Things are going well with my training and fundraising. If you haven't seen my new site yet, you should check it out. http://www.myllsfundraising.weebly.com/ Sign my guestbook--the messages, notes, and emails from you all are so uplifting and I appreciate them so much. For my Orlando friends and family---my marathon is on January 10th, 2009. My run will end outside of the park (Disney)sooooo if you want to come out and meet me at the finish line, I WOULD LOVE IT! Keep that in mind and I will get details to everyone when it gets closer. We love you all and hope this finds you well. Muahhhhh from the Bishops!
