My little Stingray

Hudson has started a season of Swim... We have gone almost 5 days a week {so proud of myself to get him there 5 times a week... ha ha, no but seriously I was thinking to myself "what on earth did I just sign myself up for??!}!  He has done so so so well.  He is my little fish.  he has learned new strokes and the proper way to swim them.  Not to mention the correct way to breath while taking laps... that is one thing I still need to figure out.

Here is my fish boy.

Love the tight little bums... LOVE IT!

warm, bathed and smelling like perfection

Name me a person who doesn't want to love on a freshly bathed and buttered up with lotion baby... and I will name you a fool.

It is in these small moments that I really understand how much I do not want to be anywhere else but in the arms of my little ones.  It is in their beds {while tucking them in, or ahem me falling asleep} close to their deep breathing, little hands in mine, or faces snugged up into my arm/chest - that I feel the most at home.  I feel peace.

Who is she???

Seriously sometimes I wonder how her HUGE, perfect, personality can fit into her tiny little body.  She is in love with monsters lately... fitting since she kinda looks like one here... haha.  More of a lion type monster.
Everyday {well every 5 min.} I hear her little voice ask me one {or both at the same time} of two things...
1. Mama I am hungry
or
2. Mama I wanna watch Scooby Doo - with a monster in it.  Please.

I am not liking either questions too much lately; only because it is all I hear.  NO joke.
The child is on a hunger strike the last few days.  Only because she is too stubborn to eat anything I put in front of her {healthy wise} and I am too stubborn to let her eat anything she wants.  I think I am winning... and that is only because I am taller and can reach all the "sugar" foods.  The ones she wants and I move each time.  I am so mean.  I honestly do not know how she hasn't turned to sugar herself.

Kitchen time

Our kitchen is almost done... almost.  There are a few little things here and there - but for the most part the BIG bones are done.  And that is not because of me.  It is because of a 6'5" man that lives with me.

Gotta love the random red diamond hanging above the sink... Hudson had my mom hang it there, I am not sure... I am think it was Valentine "time"... when Grey was born.  I think it even may still be down there.  haha

A quick shot of some amazing tile work... done by the one and only Mr Brinton.
He honestly can do it all.
Kind of a perfectionist.
Not toooo shabby.

I feel a little lighter

I feel just a weeee bit lighter...

And this is the reason why...

All of that growing was sent off to here {below}...

I tell ya what... short hair is mighty easy to do.  That I promise you.

Kinda fun to switch things up sometimes.

iPhone pictures

These two pictures make me laugh... I can hardly handle the first one.
If only he had any idea... I think that is why I love it so.

Please stay this age FOREVER; that is - without the loud opinions you sometimes give.

Hope this works...

Grey Babe talking
Please excuse the ape sounds... I do not have many tricks at getting my kids to laugh that do not involve fabulous animal sounds or squeals.  There is only so much I can do.  :)  But believe me, I would do all embarrassing sounds proudly if I got a smile and a reaction back... like this one gives me continually.  I am a fool in love.
