One GIRLIE filled weekend!

All the little Princesses at the Coral Canyon Clubhouse for a princess party.
We went to see Kung Fu Panda! Which was a pretty good kid movie, I enjoyed it. We did have to take two cars, though, to get all of this group there.
Kamren was the only kid that wanted her picture taken with the cast of High School musical. This is the girl who played Sharpay and her brother, in the play, Ryan.

All the girlies at intermission.

These two never moved during the whole play. They loved it!

We were so lucky to have the Dobson girls spend the weekend with us while their parents got away for a little Anniversary weekend. We had a lot of fun and went through a lot of food! We first went to see High School Musical at the St. George Musical Theatre on Friday night. I was mighty impressed. The girl that plays Gabriella is amazing. Then we woke up early on Saturday morning to get 5 girls hair done for their princess party. Next, we went home for naps, and then finished to day off at the movies seeing Kung Fu Panda. No wonder I have a stiff neck now. The girls loved having their bestest friends with them for 2 days straight, what can be better than that! They were all troopers, as we planned way to many things for one weekend!

Meet our new daughter, Lexi!

My girls and Syndey thought it was a lot of fun on Saturday to turn Daxton into a girl! He didn't seem to mind, in fact, I think he enjoyed all of the attention! Tony, on the other hand, was not amused! He just kept telling him he was sorry they were torturing him, and that he would get him some "help" when he had issues from this later in life!

Midnight 5K run

Thanks Dion and Mandy for being supportive and participating in another one of my crazy hairbrain ideas! I am not sure how staying up until 1AM, running 3+ miles, and tripping over ourselves because you couldn't really see where you were going, ended up being fun-but it was! And we made it without any of us throwing up or passing out, even though I wanted to a few times! We all did really well, we took 3rd, 4th and 5th in our age group(the 12-18 year olds) I wish!!! I was very happy that we did the race, and having you guys there with me, made it even better! See ya at the next race girls!!

Girls night out

Thanks for the fun night out girls! I really needed it! Now if I could train my husband to only have the kids in bed and the house clean when I get home, the world would be perfect! We are planning on trying to do this once a month, so if anyone is interested, let me know!

All the girlies!

How funny is this guy! This is the guy we conned into taking a group picture of us, and he took a picture of himself with my camera before he snapped our shot! We laughed hard about this one!

Vogue! Vogue!

Janet, we are so glad you come with us even though you think we are wierd!

Kenzie's swim meet

Last Saturday, Kenzie had a swim meet in Cedar City. It was the first one I had been to, since I was up North for my sister to have her baby, for the last one. I was very impressed with her! She did the 25 M back stroke and the 50 M freestyle. She definitely didn't win by any means, but I was amazed that she could even swim the length of the pool twice! I love that she loves to swim and that she is so excited to have us there watching her.

Girls night out!

I decided yesterday that I REALLY need to get out of the house before Tony leaves to go to another Scout camp, this weekend! So, I am thinking tonight would be a good night for a GIRLS NIGHT OUT! Anybody interested meet at my house at 6PM! We will be going to Applebee's and then maybe for ice cream! I am sorry if I don't personally contact all of you today to see if you want to go! I only have swim team, swim lessons, and summer school to be the bus driver to this morning! And then laundry, nap time, and a couple bathrooms to clean this afternoon! But I will try! I would love to see all of your faces! So come if you can!

My New Nephew, Zachery Spencer Atkinson

I went to Ogden last Thursday night so excited that the next day I would not be the one laying in the hospital bed having a baby! Instead, I got to witness somebody else in my family actually having a baby! It was so exciting! And long! I completely forgot how long it takes for first babies to decide to come into this world. They broke my sisters water at 8AM and he was born at 8:34PM! My sister did amazing, and I felt so blessed and honored to get to be in the room with her when he came out! It was so amazing to see him take his first breathe, and to watch as he looked around, wide eyed, at his new surroundings. He is such a good baby, and she has done amazing figuring everything out! I swear, I needed my Mom for about 2 weeks after I had Rylan. But Stacy, seems to know exactly what to do! Maybe me being 20 when I had my first kid, and her being 30 when she had her first, has something to do with that! She has always told us every time we would bug her about when she was going to have a baby, that she would have one when she was 30! Well, guess what? She is 30 exactly! Guess she knows what she is doing! I am so excited for Daxton to have a little boy cousin near his age to get into trouble with at Grandma's house. Thanks for the experience, Stac!

Piano Recital

Kenzie had her first piano recital this last Friday, and I was very proud of her. She was very nervous and I will admit, I was a little worried about how she would do, after hearing her practice last week. But she was very good, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well she played her song, Honey Bee. I didn't do very well with the video camera, I missed her introducing her song, and somehow I cut off before she finished, so I decided it would be best to leave my crappy video work out of this post. Good job, Kenzie. I hope she continues to enjoy piano. I am excited for the day when I can hear my daughter play an entire song with both hands on the piano.
