Soccer

Kamren decided out the the blue, one day, that she wanted to play soccer this year, so we signed her up! I don't think she really knew that she would be running her little rear off! She has actually tried to quit after every game, but we told her she has to at least play through this season, and if she doesn't want to play after that she doesn't have to, but she DOES have to finish the season! She is getting better with every single game and practice and though she hasn't scored yet, I know she will soon! Tony is her coach-his lovely wife volunteered him! I know he was not excited at first, but he is doing an awesome job coaching them!!! He is so patient with the girls, and is so into them having fun! I am very impressed! I forgot about their awesome name! They are the Blunicorns! Yes, you heard me! They wanted to be the Ponies of the Unicorns, so at least it is better than that!!! I am enjoying watching Kamren and Tony-they are both doing great!

Not quite good, but I think I have the bug!!!

We had a fun little morning yesterday, while my husband decided that golfing was going to take up HIS morning!  We loaded all the kids up at hit the road early to a fun little spot!  I know some of these are a little bright, but I kind of like them that way.  And apparently I was into fairies yesterday because I loved dressing them up.  I think I even dreamed of more fairy pictures last night!  Maybe I will have to have round 2 of the fairy look!  After pictures we took the kids to Red Cliffs to let them run around and get their energy out!  NO CAMERA'S!  I think I am going to have to learn to put my camera away some, so my kids don't get sick of my sticking it in their faces all the time!

Road Trip!!!

I will never even dare to try and compare with my talented friends, but WOW!!!!  I don't know that I have laughed that hard in years! Spending 27 hours with them watching & learning from them was amazing!  Who knew that cameras could do such amazing things!  Not me, apparently!  I actually was able to take some pictures on the manual setting!!  THAT is a big accomplishment for me! Thanks girls for being my guide, my inspiration, and my models!  I had a blast!  Thank you, thank you, thank you, for trying to help a girl get off the automatic mode!!

Oh the wonderful things I have taught my children!!!!

D and T this is for you!!!  I know you will both be so proud!  She is just about as good at this as her Mama and I love it!!!

National Kid Day....At least for the Chambers kids!!!

I don't think our kids even grasp how lucky they are to have a dad that owns a company like Dixie Direct!  Maybe I don't either, actually!

We started off the morning, by telling the kids that we were going to have a special day just for them and that who ever had the most Daddy Dollars got to start!  So they all ran to count their dollars and then we told them that they each got to pick and activity and we would do whatever they wanted for the entire day!  There where two rules- 1.It had to be in Dixie Direct if it cost money 2.  We could not leave the state-so, no Las Vegas!

So they went in their room and came out with a plan, of where we were going and where we were eating!

Karlin decided on Fiesta Fun or mini golf, games and go-cart rides!

They even let Daxton ride on the big go-carts! Can you tell how excited he was!
We had lunch at San Francisco Sough Dough Pizza and then headed to Kenzie's choice, Laser Mania.

Even Daxton wanted a gun and by the time we were all done with the game, he was a pro!

Kamren was next, with a movie!  We went to see Aliens in the Attic, funny show if you haven't seen it!

Our day ended at Ted and Allens for dinner.  Not there original choice, but they were too hungry to drive back to Village Inn!

All of this took us on a ALL DAY excursion started at 10:30 AM and ending just after 8:PM!  I think National Kid day is going to be a ONCE a year holiday!  I'm tired!

Piano Recital

Kenzie had her second piano recital this last Thursday night, and she did great!  I am so happy that with a little routine practice, she is finally starting to progress!  Who knew that actually practicing could make such a difference?!!!  She played Mary Had a Little Lamb with two hands-something her Mama can't do no matter how hard I try!  Dang left hand! Good job, Kenzie!  We are so proud of you!

What do you think these two are going to do with themselves when somebody actually tells them that they CAN'T  do EVERYTHING in their lives together?!!!  It is going to be a sad day for both of them!
