s.l.a.c.k.e.r

I don't know what it is lately, but I am a slacker on this blog. I don't know if I am just waiting for all the crazies to stop reading my blog or what, but I have decided that, "the show (or snow, right) must go on" I have been moody lately, WAY moody. I am not sure if was the 5 feet of snow that fell in three days or what but I am way in my own funk.

Our life has been pretty boring, we have been stuck inside, well actually Mom has been stuck inside, the kids loved playing in the snow. So here are the rest of the pictures from that crazy storm that has put little Flag in the record books as the 3rd worst storm EVER!

Our Joann's colapsed (which will hurt Rustic Raspberry, bummer) and LOTS of other stores have been closed until roofs can be free from all the snow.

THE storm. Yikes!

This was taken Thursday morning. They are still saying we will see up to 4 more feet by Saturday. Yikes!

The Decision.

I have pondered what to do about the "private" issue. For me this blog is not only a journal, but a resource. Whether it's venting or talking about my heart condition, I like knowing that people support and love me. I think for now, I am going to use caution when talking about details, so I am keeping my blog public.

I have received so much support through this blog when life was tough with my heart, and I know that I need to have that. My family and I are still going through times that are tough and it's because of you (my readers) that help me through.

And on that note, I want to say to my Friend Trish, who has a friend stuck under the rubble in Haiti, or my friend Heather who is still fighting through breast cancer that I love you both, and am praying for you.

So... look forward for whats to be posted, and even though there are people who I don't want knowing about me and my life the benefits of having those who do care out weigh all others.

Have a great week, we are looking to be barried under anywhere from 3-6 feet of snow!

Private

I haven't had a strong desire to make my blog private. I like that my friends and family can keep up on our life's happenings, but I have to tell ya, getting "anonymous" comments makes me want to go private. What do you think? and leave me your email, just in case I do go private. thanks.

M.T's Stats!

Miss Madilyn had her 1 year check up this past week. Here is how she ranks in the world of babies almost toddlers:

Weight: she weighs in at a dainty 18 lbs, 21st percentile
Length: 28.5 inches is how high she is from off the ground, 24th percentile
Head: 45.5 cm is her head circumference, the 58th percentile

Her are some of her favorite things:

color: prefers lilac, but sometimes she will tolerate pinks
Music: she is digging the new Cold Play album, but I think Black Eyes Peas remain her favorite
Food: Pizza. anything pizza. :)
Tv shows: I am not too sure about this next one, but she tells me she loves "Fresh Beat Band" on Nickelodeon. crazy girl.
Movie: Hannah Montana the movie. I actually caught her doing the "hoedown throwdown" in her crib the other morning.

ok... so on a more serious note (because my mother will ask) here is what she can REALLY do:

Talks: She says Ma-ma, and Da-da
Mobility: She crawls, and quickly... she is standing up and can climb the WHOLE flight of stairs before we have even realized she is gone.
Food: She is very independent, surprised? NOPE! (She gets that from her Dad by the way) so of course she has to feed herself whenever possible, which is before or after the squash :)

David and I are just in awe of this little girl. It may just be that she has dark features that makes her look so different, but there is just something about her. WE enjoy watching her giggle and snicker. Such a blessing
