The best day consisted of us going to our annual D-backs game, every Summer (so far) we have managed to get to a Diamondbacks game. We left extra early, and got down there before the gates opened. We had no idea what a great idea this was until we got inside and saw the players warming up. We went down to the lower level and stood 20 feet from the pitchers warming up. As batting practice was going on balls were going right by us. JJ Putz was nice enough to throw one over to Riley, and another manager brought over two others for the girls! Awesome right! It gets better, JJ came by and signed the balls and took a picture with us. Not my best look, but it was still a LOT of fun!

Now to the worst part:
After we returned home we scrambled to get the kids in bed, we thought we had locked up the house, then we all headed to bed. The next morning I went out to the garage to head out Grocery Shopping. I noticed the garage door was already up, which is unusual. I went back inside and called for David. When he came out he immediately noticed all the things that were missing. His Gary Fisher bike was hanging on hooks, GONE. His nice air compressor, GONE. Mitre Saw, GONE. Router, GONE. Skill saw, GONE. And it goes on. Instantly the feeling of panic came over the both of us. We felt sick. Still do actually. The scariest part of all was realizing the door from the garage to the house was unlocked as well. We feel very blessed for the safety of our family being as that we were HOME when this all happened. I still get nervous at night, I hope that will go away soon. It is really disturbing knowing that someone was in my personal space taking things that we have worked hard for. Makes me question the good of mankind. I know we will get past this, but for now, every time we go into the garage and see the empty shelves that feeling of anger comes back.
