Day 244
Raleigh made a new friend at the beach, Gabriella. The two of them loved playing with each other. I'm so thankful that Raleigh is opening up a little and beginning to play with others when I'm not right by her side!

Day 243
Future photographer in training! I would say that my love for photography is rubbing off on a certain little girl! Stick a camera on auto and she can do a pretty good job for a 4 year old!

Day 239
I think it's going to take some time for a certain little boy to get use to his pool and the beach! Not a fan of the cold salt water...yet!

Day 238
Raleigh was so excited to get to the beach and couldn't wait to go swim! She was so patient as we unpacked and finished supper before going down to the beach. Here she is ready to go and staring out the door!

Sweet Boy!
Garner's "anklet" from the ER when he was sick
So exhausted he kept on sleeping after his last feeding of the day!
The new way to use a paci!
First Ballet Class
Raleigh loved her first day of ballet! Her favorite part was dancing around in the dark. Of course she thinks she knows everything to do, but she still has so much to learn. :) They are so cute to watch!

Cheerios!
We've offered Garner some cheerios to see what he would do. Well, he touched them and that was about it! He did eat one when we put it in his mouth and he seemed to enjoy it. Guess he still needs some time before he's really interested in them.
Chewing!

Dunagan Family Reunion
When your relative is the First Lady of Georgia, your family reunion is held at the Governor's Mansion. This isn't a family reunion that you go to and expect to know everyone. I think it's impossible! Ezekiel Dunagan was my great great great grandfather and he had 19 children. This reunion consisted of anyone that could come from any of the 19 children. Our family is descendants of Joseph Ellis Dunagan (my great great grandfather) and probably had the most descendants in attendance. I even found out that my 3rd grade teacher is a descendant of Ezekiel Dunagan...crazy! Most family reunions don't have business meetings either, but this one did. So it wasn't like any reunion I've been to before, but it was interesting none the less!
Governor's Mansion
When we arrived we were greeted by Sandra Deal and then we went on a tour of the main floor. The house was opened in 1968. The first room we went into had these cabbage patch replicas of Nathan and Sandra Deal. Too cute!
Formal Dining room
Family sitting room with the Olympic torch Muhammed Ali carried in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics
Lots of books!
An original signed copy of Gone With the Wind! (Mandy, thought you'd like this!)
Raleigh being shown the kitchen. There's a button under the rug that Nathan or Sandra Deal can step on to let the cooks know when they are seated or if they need anything.
Lunch by the pool
Nathan & Sandra Deal...they are so down to earth! Behind them is a painting of the original governor's mansion in Milledgeville.
Garner enjoyed a nap during the business meeting portion. :)
Our family with the Governor (glad Raleigh made it into the picture!)
Ready for the large group picture
With Sandra Deal (Her assistant is Ember Bishop that went to Shorter with me and took this picture for us)
The large group...all descendants of Ezekiel Dunagan in attendance
Joseph Ellis Dunagan descendants
