Raleigh and Garner were both so excited to go trick or treating this year! Garner was ready for his candy and did a great job saying trick or treat. It was so cute! We went over to have dinner with Terry and Heather and then Jason and Terry took the kids out first. They were gone for about an hour and came back with lots of candy. Raleigh said her bag was too heavy to keep carrying it. Heather and I then took them out, but we only made it to one house before it started sprinkling. So we made our way back and I didn't mind at all to keep from walking lots. My goal was to not have the baby on Halloween so I just needed to make it a few more hours. I'm so thankful I was able to be with them...now the baby can come!

Jaemor Farms
Raleigh had her field trip to Jaemor Farms today and I am so thankful that I was able to go. They had a great time! After eating lunch they were able to pick a pumpkin, ride on a "hay" ride, see a bee hive, look for worms in a compost pile, make their way through the corn maze, race ducks, and slide down a big slide. The class did great and it was fun watching all of them. I think they all had so much fun and will probably all sleep well...after trick or treating at least. :)

I'm Mommy
Raleigh puts on my house shoes and said "I'm Mommy" one day and then she says hold on and runs to her room. This is what she looks like when she comes out! Silly girl!
Fall Festival
We enjoyed a little time at Hebron's Fall Festival today. Raleigh and Garner played a couple games and Garner enjoyed one of the bounce houses. It was hot though! I think Olaf started to melt a little so we didn't stay too long! Then we went to "trick or treat" at Memaw's and Nana and Granddaddy's.
Pumpkin Carving
We missed it last year, but this year we scheduled in time to carve our pumpkin. I'm not really sure why we do this because Raleigh and Garner both don't enjoy pulling the pumpkin pulp out. Raleigh did draw the face on the pumpkin this year and she did a great job! So now we're all ready with our festive jack-o-lantern!

38 weeks
So today was the first check to see how I'm progressing. For now I'm dilated to 3 cm and 80% effaced. The baby's heart rate was great at 160 bpm. She doesn't think I'll make it to my due date, so we'll see! It makes me all excited and sad at the same time! I've been having a few contractions so hopefully I'll progress a little more before I head to the hospital. Not much longer and we'll know if we have a little boy or girl!!

Babies R Us
Garner likes going to Babies R Us for one reason...to ride the car when he leaves. He was satisfied with just sitting in it until Grandma actually put money in it one day! :)

Everything is measuring great with the baby! The baby's heart rate was 145 bpm. Next week will be the first check!!

Frozen on Ice
Disney announced the tour of Frozen on Ice and I knew right away I wanted to take Raleigh. The day tickets were available for purchase we bought them! I knew this would be our last planned family outing as a family of four. We didn't tell her all day where we were going. She kept wanting to know, but we kept putting it off. We stopped at the Varsity for some dinner and she wanted to know why everyone was in princess dresses. :) We told her we were going to Phillips Arena where they played basketball, hockey, and ice skated. She then started putting it together and said she wanted to see princesses skate. When we finally parked she ran to the back of the car and saw her Elsa dress. She was so excited she was going to get to wear it. Garner however didn't want to wear Olaf. :( Although she was tired, she really enjoyed the show! We had lots of fun and I've made it through all of our planned events before having a baby! Now our next big thing will be for a birthday party at the hospital! :)

Maternity Pictures
I had wanted to go to Berry for some maternity pictures and Coo was going to take them for us. Unfortunately she ended up with kidney stones and couldn't meet us. Since we weren't going to be able to make it to Berry for pictures, we asked Susan to take some for us around home. She found a really cute house in Grayson and we met her for some pictures. She did a wonderful job!! I'm so thankful she was willing to do this for us on such short notice. Now we'll just have to plan for pictures at Berry another time as a family of 5!
