Chuck E. Cheese

We took Lincoln to Chuck E. Cheese's tonight for dinner. This was his first time there! He has been to Gattiland a few times, but never here. He liked it, the first couple rides he SCREAMED when we took him off, but once he realized there was so much to do, he was okay getting on and off. It was alot of fun, but alot of money for a pizza that was not that good!

Waiting on the food

The food took too long so Lincoln went for his first ride

Finally, Pizza!

Let the fun begin...

Baby Whack-a-Mole

Clifford the Big Red Dog

I see you

This was his favorite thing there and it didnt even cost a token!

Farmers Market, or not so much

This morning I got up early and took Lincoln to Waters Creek in Allen. They supposedly have a Farmers Market from 9-1 on Saturdays and I wanted to get some yummy fruit. Well, all I got were these pictures because there was no fruit! The pictures were worth it I guess.

Afterward we went to Garden Ridge, I thought it was hilarious to watch Lincoln try and walk through the isles with his shoes on, this was a first for him!

Friday Night Fun, Part II

Last night was Little Elms last night to do that band by the lake thing, so we took Lincoln again. Anything that entertains him and lets us relax and everyone have a good time is OK in my book! I wish they were doing it all summer!

Lincoln at the playground before the band started

Lincoln and Mommy! (Everyone that has always said he looks like me, check this out- all I see is Daddy these days)

Splish Splash

Since I work from home, and can not always take Lincoln somewhere outside our house, and it is SO hot, I wanted to get lincoln a water toy for the backyard. I picked him out a slip n' slide. I did not expect that he would be running and sliding down the mat- but I figured he could play in the streaming water and splash around for fun. We hooked it up last night just to let him see how it worked, I think he was a little put off by the freezing water... but I am sure he will love it in no time.

Of course, as usual, he was more interested in the hose bib than the fun toy!

Babies are so smart, a little too smart!

Joey had a ladder in Lincolns room today working on installing his ceiling fan, Lincoln, who has never seen a ladder before that I know of, knew just what it was for and climbed right up! It is amazing how smart he is and knows what stuff is for- but that is not exactly the safest way for him to display his genius :)

Friday Night Fun

Friday night we met Eddie and Laura in Little Elm at a park where they have a live band play and the kids can run around and have fun. They have a boy 7 weeks younger than Lincoln, so any time we can let Lincoln play with other kids his age I am happy.

He had a good time running around and jammin' to the music.

Lincolns Water Table

I have taken Lincoln to play at other peoples houses twice where they had a water table. The first time he loved it and played with it the whole time we were there, but I didnt think anything of it. Then, the second time we were at a friends with the same table he did the same thing, played with it the whole time. So, I took the hint and decided it was time to get him his own.

The first day he liked it... (so did Jasper I guess)

The Second day, he climbed right in! He thought it was a pool. I thought to myself, surely I am not the first parent this has happened to. And sure enough, our friends with a baby almost the same age as Lincoln said their son did the same thing!

New Posts Coming...

On top of moving into our new house my laptop had an issue with the charger and I had to send it off for warranty repair. Any one who knows me knows this has been a HUGE hassle for me. I work from home and spend about 10 hours a day on that laptop. I have had to resort to my desktop for work which is inconvenient and awkward. I have taken new pics, but am waiting for my laptop back to upload. Once I do I will catch up! That is supposed to be tomorrow- we'll see. I can not wait to have it back.

Oh yeah, by the way...

Lincoln is officially walking now, he walks, falls, gets up and does it again, over and over. Right now he still looks like he has had too much to drink, but he will get better and better I know. Pretty soon he'll be running around I will be wishing for the days when he could only crawl!

Fun Weekday

This is Lincoln wondering why I even try to put shoes on his feet!

Ready to go party!

Chelsi decided to have a playdate at her house today with lots of moms and their kiddoes. Lincoln is not used to playing with other kids, so I thought this would be great for him. He had a lot of fun, and climbed right into all the water (I didn't even have him in a suit)!

The food was great and all the kids had a fun time. Thank you Chelsi for putting this together! I am sure others have lots better pics to post, I only took 2!

Lincoln in shoes

Lincoln has had a pair of shoes since the day he was born, every time he gets bigger I have gotten him a new pair, hes up to his 6th or 7th pair of shoes but he NEVER wears any of them! Yesterday my Mom, sister and I took him to eat lunch and he wore shoes! He tried to take them off in the car, but I guess he got used to them after a while.

After lunch we went to the mall- he took the shoes off in the car, but its a good start!

Heres the only pic I got of him on the meri-go round. I was trying to hold him on and take a picture at the same time so I couldnt get more. By the way, he loves these things, the kid has no fear- he is gonna be a roller coaster rider just as soon as he is tall enough :)

10 Days till Moving Day!

We move in to our new house in 10 days, I can not believe it! They have finished almost all of our changes (including the floors which we are most excited about), we have a walk-through on Thursday. We close Friday the 12th!

Lincoln is pretty excited about having is own room back- haha, not really, but I am happy that he will be sleeping in a separate room again. Every noise he makes at night wakes me up. I am a very light sleeper. The only downside is, now I will have to climb stairs to go get him!
