He amazes me more everyday!
Is it normal that a 20 month old can open child locked cabinets? How do you keep a baby out of the chemicals if they are smart enough to open the locked doors???!!!!

One Smart Baby!
So, today Lincoln took off his diaper and brought it to me, then he disappeared. I went to find him and he was in the bathroom sitting on his potty (I grabbed my camera as fast as I could). He went in there to pee- all by himself! There was more on the floor than in the potty, but WOW what a big step. I guess this means I should start working with him on potty training, he obviously understands the concept.

Merry Christmas
We had a great Christmas this year, Lincoln was old enough to open his presents and have some fun, but not so old that we had to spend a fortune :)
Christmas Eve we went to church and they had a How the Grinch Stole Christmas play, Lincoln loved the Grinch, everytime he went off stage Lincoln said "Where'd he go".

Christmas morning for Lincoln started a little rough, he was woke by the sounds of our fire alarm! We started a fire in the fireplace and it was so cold and windy out the smoke pushed back into the house instead of out, it was the weirdest thing (yes, the chute was open).
After that the fun started with teaching and watching Lincoln unwrap his presents. He loves tractors, and got 3, he was happy. He got lots of other things as well.

I cant believe this year is ending and soon Lincoln will be turning 2 (in April)! Time really does fly when you are having fun.

Finally, Christmas Eve with Santa!
We have made many attempts to get Lincolns picture made with Santa this year, the first two he wanted nothing to do with him, then the lines were ridiculous every time we tried, finally this morning I got the pic- crying or not! Lincoln did really good, he made a sad face, but didnt cry at all. It was much better than expected.

Construction
The neighborhood we live in is new and we are surrounded by empty lots. They started building a house directly across the street and Lincoln LOVES to watch them work. He stands on the chair in our office and watches out the window. He gets to see tractors and big trucks- he loves it!

On a more exciting note, today Lincoln went PP in the Potty for the first time! I'm so proud of my BIG boy, and also shocked at how fast he is growing. I dont expect he will be potty trained any time soon- but its a start.

Food
Last night we had spaghetti for dinner, these pics are from after I cleaned him up! What a mess.

These are pics from Lincoln today at lunch, that corn dog is frozen! He refused to let me heat it up... gag me. He didn't eat more than the top breading though so I guess he knew it was pretty gross. Still wouldn't give it back though. Good thing they are precooked!
