A song for Ilon

A friend from church posted a video of her daughter singing songs to her new little brother. Declan watched this video over and over, here's his response video for Ilon. It takes a few seconds to get to the singing.

Have I mentioned how much these two love to play together in Declan's room? Here's some proof from last night. We were out to dinner and shopping at Sams when Declan asked, "can we go home and play in my room with baby?" Of course that meant that when we got home I had to give them a few minutes to play before bed.

While we were outside this week we decided to let Addy try Declan's roller coaster and to our surprise she loved it and didn't need any help holding on after the first couple of tries. Here's a little video of her riding it for the first time.

Lincoln Logs

These logs just take John and I both back to our childhood. We've both enjoyed building with Declan this week. Our sweet neighbor bought them for Declan for Christmas.

My parents came last weekend to keep the kids so we could attend a wedding. Here's a shot of my Declan and Addy with their Papa.

This is how I found Addy sleeping one day. When you can't escape it's time to sleep.

When you see something cute and go grab the camera this is the situation by the time you take the picture! I've got to stop trying to capture the sweet moments, it just ruins them at times :)

We did recover though.

Just hanging out taking pictures and videos this week. Declan is fussy in the background of each video. He just didn't feel good and thought he could take it out on Addy and I. Oh well, I guess it's documenting real life with a 2 1/2 year old.

I'm way behind here on posting. It's been a good and crazy holiday for us. We enjoyed time with family and friends, but all of us came down with a stomach bug that just didn't want to let go. I'm still not sure if Declan is over it yet, but I think he's getting better. Here are some pictures from the past few days.
