The Babies Go To High School!

Yesterday Annalise and Grayson became high school students at Aledo High School. They went to Shelly Williams class to be observed for a unit on child development. We played with them on the floor and the high school kids had to write things down that they were doing.

They were good sports- they were both very tired and needed naps but they kept it together until we left!

Here they are just before we left-

This is what they looked like when we got to school-

Here are some shots from class-

Here are some other happenings from around our house-

I've been giving Annalise teething biscuits. Mostly, they just make her all slimy.

She has been enjoying playing with her new "kitchen table."

And, I finally made her hand and footprints. They turned out to be very cute and very tiny!

Spring Break 2008

We just got back from my parents house where Annalise had her first pool time. She loves kicking, splashing and floating in the water. It was darling!!!

Also, here are some pics of Annalise, Grayson, Ellis, and Noah at the mall after we met the Easter Bunny. It was hard to coordinate all four babies and have them happy and keep their bunny ears on their heads. Grayson is in the blue, Ellis is in yellow, and Noah has on the tie.

Happy Easter!

I have been meaning to post this for a few days but we have been with out phone and internet because a squirrel chewed though the lines in our neighborhood.

Annalise met the Easter Bunny-
She was very cute and happy to meet him. Her friends Grayson, Ellis, and Noah were also there. I will post some more pictures of our big day when I get them. The 4 babies were very cute together.

6 Months Old!

Tomorrow Annalise will be six months old! Time is just flying by. I love watching her grow and change and develop her little personality.

Annalise has become a master drooler! I took her to the doctor yesterday because she was really congested and it turns out, she has an ear infection. I am pretty sure she has had the infection for at least three weeks... Oops! Now we know what symptoms to look for next time.

Anyways, when you are a drooly baby and your nose is plugged so badly that you can only breathe out of your mouth, you drool A LOT! Notice the very large drool stain below...

Here is Annalise being silly in a hat...

Here is her sad face. She is very good at sticking out her lower lip. I have been trying to capture this on camera for a while but usually when I get the camera out, she starts smiling right away. Notice her super cute pants with colorful hearts on them.

And, this is one of Annalise's new favorite games, playing in a tent made with a blanket.

We went to see the Easter Bunny today with our Tuesday mall walking friends. It was loads of fun and the babies all looked super darling in their cute spring outfits. Afterwards we took some pictures of the four of them together. I will put them up when I get them, they are on Grace and Effie's cameras.

First Snow, Extreme Baby Cuteness, & Blue Eyes

It snowed last night in Fort Worth. For you non-Texans out there, this is a pretty big deal. We got about a half inch of snow that stuck for a few hours.

Here is some extreme baby cuteness from Miss Annalise...

Here she is having a very bad hair day...

I am still amazed with her blue eyes!

Baby Dediction!!!

This past weekend we had Annalise's baby dedication at church. It was a great weekend. My parents came in for the festivities and Thomas was with us the entire time as well. They got here on Thursday night. The weather was really nice on Friday so we went and had lunch outside at Joe T. Garcia's. Baby dedication was on Saturday afternoon and then we went out to dinner on Saturday night.

Here are some pictures...

This is Jon and I with Ted, his boss.

Here she is in her sweet, little dress my Mom got her.

Some family pictures-

And, us and the Westerfields. Annalise was glad to see Grayson there.

The Past Two Weeks...

Lots has been going on over the past two weeks... When I downloaded the pictures off of my camera there were 185 pictures!!! Time is passing so quickly! I can't believe that it is already March.

Annalise has started to enjoy reading with us, especially the book "Pat the Bunny."

She can also almost crawl, which is exciting and a little bit annoying all at the same time.

She has discovered some new favorite things... cell phones and tipping backwards. She loves the cell phone so much that we had to get her one of her own.

Some days she plays so hard that she falls asleep before we can get her in her crib.
