Mommy Day Celebration

Thomas' preschool had the sweetest program to celebrate Mother's Day this past Tuesday. They sang a few of the cutest songs about their mommies, gave out special handmade bags and then had lots of special yummy treats on nice silver trays for us mommies to enjoy. It was the cutest school program I've ever seen and I am so glad my sweet boy finally sang!!!

Our video camera was filled to it's capacity and of course, when I tried to start taking pictures, I realized that my camera battery had been left on and was dead. Thanks to Mrs. Jenny's camera and to Mrs. Laura for taking all the cute pics, I have a few to share :)

Inside the hand painted tote that is in my hand in the second pic was the BEST present of all...a mommy questionnaire filled out by ours truly. It was so funny to read his answers to questions about me. He nailed a few, answered a few like he was thinking about himself (I mean the world does revolve around them doesn't it) and totally came out of left field with a couple of his answers!!! Out of the mouth of this babe...ENJOY:

Oh how I LOVE this boy! He is so much fun and so full of the cutest personality!!! It made my heart so happy to hear him singing to me, even if I did have to bribe him with a pack of Chewy Sprees! It was so stinkin cute when at the end of the second to last song, when everyone was still and quiet, he looked at me with a huge grin and announced, "I did it Mommy!" Of course the first thing he said when he ran to greet me afterwards was, "Where's my candy?"

Imagination and Four Months

It's been a month since I last posted, really? Our Christmas was great and oh so magical with one who's close to being three. I can't wait to see what next year is like. This sweet boy is full of imagination these days. He has quite a few imaginary friends, whom seem to go any where he does. Diego has been just about everywhere with us this week and last week it was Jack. I have to make sure to tell Diego to put on his shoes too and whatever else I'm trying to get Thomas to do.

Some of these imaginary friends come and go and others have stuck around for a while. For example, Thomas' "other mother, Sally." Sally "lives in Africa, and looks like a beautiful pirate princess." She showed up around the time Holland came home from the hospital :)! Another mother, should I be worried??? Sally must live with her Dad, whom Thomas refers to as his "grandpa in Africa." The poor man is "sick, sick" and has been in and out of the hospital since Christmas, according to Thomas.

Yes, these things crack me up and to tell you the truth almost made me wonder if he was seeing, should I say it, ghosts at first. But no, this cutie just has quite the imagination!!!

He is always dressing and pretending to be someone...I think he's the cutest Spiderman I've ever seen!

This sweet girl turned four months old on the 25th! She is almost perfect in every way...laid back and smiles all the time. Her only downfall is she refuses to take any kind of bottle whatsoever...ANY SUGGESTIONS?

So I Will Always Remember...

Some of the things you say.

You have the sweetest and funniest personality! You keep us cracking up all the time. You are very witty and one never knows what your little mind is thinking and what you might say next.

You told your nannie, "I like your house Nannie, not mommy's!" When asked why, you answered, "Cause you have TWO t.v.'s and mommy just have one!!!"

You had one of those terrible two moments the other day...surprise, surprise. Later in the day we were talking about and revisiting the situation. You told me, "I just got fustated (frustrated) mommy."

Miss Adriane, your babysitter kept you and baby Holland the other night. I think it was the first time we had left the two of you together with a babysitter. You were decorating cookies and Holland was sitting in her bouncy seat watching. Miss Adriane said that Holland started to get fussy shortly after Mommy and Daddy left. She said that you rushed to her, patted her and said, "It ok baby Howand (Holland). You mommy and daddy come back...I pamise (promise). They will and they come in you bed and give you kisses. You be ok!" Those are all the things we say to comfort you and your sweet little self is already watching out for your baby sister. That simply melts my heart!

P.S. Have I told you how much I love your smile? It makes me so happy to see!!!

11 Weeks

This sweet thing is eleven weeks old today! Big girl is trying so hard to pull herself up when propped on something. This is what she was doing in these pictures, hence such serious faces!!! Thomas was so excited for her and in the above pic, was trying to "teach" her how to do it. After I called her such a big girl, he exclaimed, "Yea baby Holland!!! Now you can eat fruit snacks!"
