We had a fun weekend this last weekend. Ella and Darrin finally got to go see the "Dancers". They went to the U of U gymnastics meet. Ella loved it but was a little concerned when the dancers came out and didn't have tutus on!


We also got our bikes out and dusted them off and took a family bike ride...in FEBRUARY!?!?! It was in the 60's this last weekend so we took advantage of our spring like weather.

Darrin took Ella on a date last Saturday. He bought tickets to take her to the U of U gymnastics meet. We got her all excited about it and Friday night about 10:30 pm, we realized that the meet was Friday instead of Saturday like we were thinking. So, they missed the meet. Ella was okay with it as long as she gets to see the "dancers" later! Darrin took her to get curly fries, they went bowling and Ella won the game, and then they went to Pace's Dairy Ann and got a Lime Rainbow! Ella loved being on a date with her dad but she kept asking if mom and Daxton could come next time! :)

We carved our pumpkins tonight for family night! We even put Daxton in his pumpkin. We have a picture of Ella in one, so of course he needed a picture in a pumpkin. He didn't like it as much as Ella did!

We carried on our tradition of inviting a few people over to decorate gingerbread haunted houses. This year we made 10 houses. We had a great time and hope those that came enjoyed it as well. Thanks for helping us carry on our tradition!
This years house includes and owl, a happy bat, and a scarecrow! Ella had such a fun time with her friends, eating candy and decorating houses.

Daxton is 11 months old today! I cannot believe how fast the time is going. It doesn't seem like we have been in our house for almost a year and I can't even believe that my little baby boy is almost one!!!
I love you little man!!

Every year we spend a few days at the condos at East Canyon with the Burnham's. This year we had a great time! We rode on Afi's boat and Ella loved watching daddy "skate" (ski)! Ella also loved riding the tube with mommy and Daxton loved his life jacket and sleeping every time we got on the boat! We also enjoyed naps, swimming, and walks around the condo property! It was a fun time with our great family!! Thanks Afi for taking us on your boat!!
