Our Most Recent Kill

THIS POST IS DEDICATED TO MY MOTHER WHO ALWAYS LOOKS FOR SNAKES WHEN SHE COMES TO SEE US IN FLORIDA, AND TO MY SISTER DONNA WHO WANTED ME TO POST ABOUT THE SNAKE WE KILLED A FEW WEEKS AGO ON OUR FRONT PORCH.
Warning: If you have a weak tummy, don't look at the second picture.
A few hours ago Dan Dan came inside yelling "snake." He and Danny were outside cleaning out the truck and a snake had crossed over the driveway. By the time I had come outside Danny was cutting the head off with a shovel. We researched it on line and we think it is a Juvenile Cottonmouth. Yikes! I am sending Danny to the store tonight to buy moth balls to spread around the yard. They are supposed to repel snakes. As my mom would say, "time will tell."

Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho, it's home from Disney we go.

It is Sunday morning and we woke up, back in our own beds, in our little home sweet home. No matter where you go, no matter where you are it is always nice to wake up at home. We are just relaxing this morning, our last day of vacation, taking a day off from church, which is actually a little bit nice...shhh....God knows our hearts!

We are back from a mini vacation to Disney World, and of course, as Disney would say, "we had a magical time." To those who know us well (Dolly and Donna), they may say we are Disney FREAKS, because we go to WDW alot! 1st: We are not freaks we just enjoy going to Disney because when you go there you SERIOUSLY forget about any problems you may have. 2nd: Now that we live in this great state of Florida (sarcasm), we get Florida Resident discounts on parks and resorts.

Below are some pictures of our trip. One special note for those of you who have little princesses, Disney has a new way to get more of your $$$$. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique,
www.disneyworld.com/style . We couldn't understand why we kept seeing all these little girls walking around the parks decked out in full princess attire. Seriously, from head to toe! We were making fun of the parents who, "had to make their little girl a princess and walk around the park in 90 degree weather, wearing an itchy costume."

Packages start at $44.95 and to up to $229.95 (tax not included), reservations highly suggested! There are 2 boutiques, one conveniently located in Cinderella's castle at the Magic Kingdom, and one at Downtown Disney. We lucked out on this trip. Maddie is way past the princess stuff and Margaux is way too young to understand!

So girls, save your money so you can make your little ones into a princess in a few years. Just don't walk them around the parks in 90 degree weather.

I'm Back in the Saddle Again

Last night I returned home from a mini "vaca" with my little ones, Harry Jack and Margaux. We went to Charlotte and Lynchburg. It was a fast 3 days trying to fit everything in, but it was lots of FUN!

Thanks to my love for taking care of Maddie and Danny so I could get away to visit my parents and sisters! The post below shows some pictures from my trip. I basically took pictures of Harry Jack, Margaux, and Caroline. Sorry! They are just too cute not to photograph! Oh, and Jenius, I love the one with you and Margaux! You're a looker for a Grammy!

So I am back in the saddle again. The house needs major cleaning, there is laundry to do, grocery shopping and of course school. Danny and I are taking the children on a Destination Unknown on Wednesday- Saturday. We have to get a weeks worth of school complete within the next two days or we will be behind, YUCK! So, stay tuned for a post next week on our DU!

Our church is hosting the Power Team this week. We do this every year and it is upbeat, intense and very very DRAINING!!!! Below are some pictures of our day today. That is all I am going to say. I am too tired to post and out of POWER--get it?

Monday Monday, isn't that the name of a song from the 70's

Okay, so it is Monday again. I hate Monday's. It is so hard to get back in the swing of things after the weekend. It is now 8:45pm and I just put the boys and Margaux to bed. As soon as I sat down to put a new post on my blog, BOTH of my boys came back out of their room to tell me that they had to go potty, #2! So back up I got, to supervise the potty situation. Then, Margaux started to cry and I asked my sweet husband to go give her the pacifier.
Two minutes later my sweet husband comes from the bedroom holding sweet Margaux in his hands. So guess what? Everyone is up, no one is in bed, and bedtime is once again started all over again. Here are a few pictures of our night tonight.
Maddie girl taking "night classes" on her techno savvy school, Liberty University Online Academy. Go LUOA!!!!! Is she a Bulldog or a Flame? Once again the home school thing is another story for another time. I will post about this one day.
BTW, (Reber girls, that's you too Teecy), Maddie got an email in her LUOA in box today from "hklamm!!!!" I was smiling (chuckling inside) when she got it. I told her that hklamm was her online principle and when I was in high school at LCA, hklamm was my principle.

Margaux giving Danny welcome home kisses!
"She's got her father's eyes....her father's eeeyyyyye's," kudos to Amy Grant (Gill).
My boy's! This is the first time I put them to bed, before the #2's. They are holding up their new skate boards. I had been buying these $4.00 Tech Deck skate boards for them at Target. Today we were at Target and there was a stock person putting new items in the One Spot section. They had a package of SIX skateboards for $1.00, so I bought it. Luckily my boy's are too young to know that they were getting "Off Brand." boards! They are thrilled!

BTW, only one had to go potty. The other one said he had to go potty, just to get up. Hmmm...I wonder who that was?

Sweet Margaux Jeanne

Big things are going down at our house tonight. Tonight we put our sweet Margaux Jeanne in her crib for the first night. Until now she has slept in her cute little Pottery Barn bassinet right beside my side of the bed. Now she is a big girl in her big girl crib.
I cannot believe that she will be 6 months on the 15th! Time is going by too fast! I totally understand now, why the babies of the family are usually the most spoiled compared to the older siblings. It is just a natural thing for parents to baby the baby of the family so much more then the rest of the children, because the baby of the family will always be the baby. The sweet little completer. Margaux completes us and we are so happy that God blessed us with her. She makes our hearts grow!
So, guess where we put Margaux's crib? In our room, of course, right beside my side of the bed. I just cannot put her on the other side of the house, in a room all by herself. She will have plenty of time to have a room to herself. For now, Danny and I still have our little room mate, our sweet Margaux Jeanne. Love it!
Danny is a bit peeved at trying to set the crib up. I jokingly told him that maybe next time he builds a crib, he should figure out an easier way to put it together.

Margaux stretching out in her new bed.

A happy baby girl! Hey, I know the butterflies are a bit too much, but Target had a curtain panel on clearance for $1.48. It matched the bumper so I bought it to make a round sheet. It works for now. I am still searching for some nice brown and pink fabric to make another sheet.

Night-night Margaux Jeanne!
