Help! Looking for a Bible verse
Good morning girlies. I need help and this is, for sure, the fast way to get it. I am looking for the Bible verse that talks about the, "Lord being pleased with a womans quiet spirit, or a sweet spirit." I cannot remember the exact words, but when I read it years ago, I was convicted. I thought is was in Psalms. Do any of you know what verse I am talking about? If so, please give it to me~Thanks!

The Florida Primaries
Today was voting day for us Floridians. Whaaahoooo! Finally! Hopefully this will put an end to all the telemarketers calling the house wanting our vote or wanting us to do a "quick" survey. Seriously, on Sunday while we were eating lunch, we had at least 5 phone calls right in a row. Not to mention the many phone calls we had all last week.So here we are, the 5 of us. Danny met us here and he took the boys with him to vote and I took the girls. We were, remarkably, in and out in minutes! We all got stickers! It was a nice little "field trip" for both Maddie and Danny. (FYI, for those who are wondering, no I did not take the above picture, nor did Danny. A nice little elderly lady did.)
Okay, I must also say that.....I was proud.....to be a Florida Cracker and vote in the Presidential primaries. I cannot believe I said that.
Lastly, I will leave you with a little bit of Republican sweetness! Miss Margaux Jeanne.

Is There A Dr. In The House?
Danny speaks, or teaches, and does well! I really never worry about him before he speaks. This is his gift, his talent, given to him by God. He's a natural. I am so proud of him. You go Dr. Dan!

Claire's--Just found out it is not just for girls!
This morning we had to get out of the house. I am trying to be good and conserve gas and stay home. We had been home for almost 3 straight days. I was starting to go nuts. So this morning we got up, got school over with (yes, I home school--don't laugh, it was not planned it just happened) and were surprisingly out of the house by 10:00.
Maddie had a few gift cards to Claire's so off to the mall we went. Under normal circumstances I hate Claire's. It is always so crowed in there. So much stuff. So much junk. Such a small place to be with 4 children and a stroller. But today was different.
Since we got out of the house so early this morning, the mall was empty. We had Claire's all to our self for about 30 minutes. And, who knew Claire's had things for boys! Not me. Lucky for Harry Jack, they had marked down lots of Diego things. He hit the jack pot with a new umbrella and ball cap.
Here are a few pic's from our morning. And, whoaaa Nelly on the comments girls! On my last post I was FLATTERED to have so many. We bloggers live for comments and you girls made me SHINE! Thanks!

I Could Just "Tish You!"
No big post for today. Just a cute picture of Margaux. This is how I found her this morning as we were getting ready to walk out the door for church. She had just about emptied the brand new box of tissues I had just put out. She is really scooting around the house. This past week I found her sitting on the floor of the pantry, with Cool Ranch Doritos laying all around her, and the empty bag in her hand. But that's okay. We still love her so much! Thank you Jesus for Margaux Jeanne! I could just kiss her every time I see her, and I do!

Tryin to Keep It Clean!
Okay readers, I had a FUNNY post on here today. I had a link to another bloggers post of hilarious Olan Mill Photos! The problem was, the original bloggers post has some off color things on it. I posted it and then ran it by my sweet hubby and he said, "although it is funny, you have to delete the post." So, "I, Denise Ashley Reber Logan, take thee, Daniel Kenneth Logan, to love, cherish, and OBEY....." deleted the post.
Email me if you want a good laugh!

Look at him! My man Dan!
What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man! Yes he is...

My P31 Is Over Done! Ouch!
57 tops
20 pants
14 pairs of underwear
9 pj's
7 pairs of slippers
5 sweaters
4 coats
4 jackets
4 skirts
3 sweat suits
3 dresses
3 hats
3 socks
2 pair flip flops
2 Christmas stockings
2 lunch boxes
1 pair mittens
1 scarf
1 lip balm
Yep, my P31 is definitely overdone! Ouch! But, I was buying for 6 people, and our Old Navy had loads of inventory! Inside information told us that they were still bringing out boxes of inventory TODAY, the 3rd day of the sale.
My quiver is officially fully clothed. And, both Maddie and Dan Dan have enough clothes to last until next Spring. Harry and Margaux have a good start on clothes for the next year too.
Please readers! Make me accountable to my new commitment to stay away from Target and any other retail store for the next 3 weeks! If there is anything I need I can pick it up at the local Publix, right up the street.
So, my total? Guess?

Donna, Harry has Carry beat! (Sorry, long post!)
Okay, let me somewhat explain the title first. Back on December 7, 2007, my sister Donna posted a story, "Roy Graham, Come Home!!!!!!,"about her day running errands with Caroline. It was a hilarious story of how Caroline had a few "accidents" in her pants. Mid-story, all of us readers were saying, "poor Donna!" Let me now say, "Donna, Harry has Carry beat."
Today I had a full 2-4 hours of errands to run with my 4 children. First haircuts for the boys, the library to pick up some books Maddie needed for some reports, blockbuster to get a few movies for me and Danny, then the dreaded grocery story...... with my 4 children..... hanging off the shopping cart...... asking for every sugar loaded food they saw.
We got to the hair cut place without a hitch. The boys got their hair cut and we were in and out within about 45 minutes. On to the library....where my story grows, oh so...ripe!
The library is quiet. Maddie and Danny are looking at books in the juvenile section. Harry is playing with the puzzles, and Margaux is playing at my feet, on the floor, with baby wipes she had pulled out of the wipe case. (Wipes! An important part of the story.) I am diligently working on the computer finding Maddie's books. All of a sudden I hear Harry Jack saying, "Mommy, I have poo poo on my shoe." I looked up from the computer and thought, "Lord, please help me to have heard him wrong." Nope! Sure enough, there was poop on his left shoe.
I asked him how that happened---I know, Duh! He said, "I go poo poo." I grabbed Margaux and the wipes, and said, "Where?" And there it lay, in the corner, behind a bookshelf, on the carpet floor, a nice pile of poop. How nice was the pile you say? About 1/2 of a cup full of shmmmushy poop!
I then took another look at Harry Jacks shoe. That's when I saw, the poop RUNNING down the back of his left leg. I pulled up his shorts and they were COVERED in poop.
Remember the wipes? God must have been laughing in heaven. He knew I would quickly need these wipes Margaux was playing with. And, thankfully for some heavenly reason, there was a trash can right beside Harry Jack's poop.
I dropped to my knee's and started scooping up poop with the wipes, and then scrubbing the carpet trying to get the liquidy remains out.
Then, not knowing who had heard Harrison and was watching, I calmly got up and went to the nearest bathroom, only to find a note on the door saying, "Please ask for key at desk." I went to get the key while calling for Maddie and Danny to come help me. They obediently came right away, THANK YOU JESUS! Ding Ding Ding! Score for Maddie and Danny. I handed Margaux to them to play with and took Harry Jack in the bathroom to clean him up.
When we left the bathroom all Harry Jack was wearing was a shirt, Pampers Easy Up (which by the way, he was wearing a clean Easy Up when the accident happened), one sock on the right foot and both shoes.
So back to Maddie's books. I grab the list of books she needed and try to focus on finding them, with my 4 children following behind, still unsure if anyone has heard, seen or smelt my situation.
I find my first few books and then.... again I hear Harry's voice saying, "Mommy, Margaux did a poo poo!" Sure enough, Margaux had pooped. It was up her crack starting to come out the back of her diaper. This is when the thought of my sweet husband came to mind. I wondered what type of day he was having? Or, better yet, where did he go for lunch today?
I grabbed my books, went to the checkout kiosk and checked out as quickly as I could. Then I said, "lets go!" Harry Jack led the way as we walked from the back of the library to the front and out to the truck. He looked HILARIOUS! He could have cared less how he looked. I wish I had my camera!
I am home now. Needless to say, I didn't get to the grocery store or Blockbuster. The house is quiet. Maddie and Danny are reading and Harry and Margaux are sleeping. I am hungry! All I have had to eat today is a cup of hot tea and a Goo-Goo bar that I rewarded myself with on the way home from the library. Thank you Jesus I tossed one in the diaper bag on my way out the door this morning.
So Donna, poop or pee, what will it be? Which one would you rather clean up off the floor of a public building?

Crazy Buzz Words
Today there is not too much going on at MLISF. Actually, yesterday was a long day and I am proud to say that today at 10:30, I am still in my PJ's, my baby is asleep, my toddler is running around the house in nothing but "Go Diego Go" underwear, and my oldest two are playing a game on the computer.
Anyway, I was just reading my usual blogs and came across my friend Hannah's husband, Max's blog--didn't know he had one and I really don't know him very well. Anyway, there was a post on there about the word "AWESOME." Let me just say that I loved his post!
There are so many buzz words that go around, especially in religious environments. I, Denise, am "born again. A follower/believer of Jesus Christ. A Christian--whatever your wording is, and more times then not, I cringe when I hear people, especially Christians, use the word AWESOME. Seriously!
In my opinion the word AWESOME should ONLY be used in association with Jesus Christ/God. Sports are not awesome. A deal at Target (love em) is not awesome. A meal is not awesome. A book, trip, a vehicle, a SPEAKER, a SERMON, a TVshow/movie is not awesome!
God and Jesus are AWESOME. Nothing can even come close to God! Nothing compares (wasn't that a song in the 90's?). God's creation of this beautiful world is awesome---the mountains, geysers, oceans, etc. God creating a baby in a mommy's belly is AWESOME! And, so is the MIRACULOUS birth. Jesus dying, being buried and RISING again is AWESOME. Jesus ascending to heaven after he rose is AWESOME. Knowing He will come again is AWESOME. Whatever your situation is, your LIFE is still AWESOME--a gift from God! Use it to honor and glorify Him!
Okay, I am done now. Thanks, Max, for the great post! Thanks for the great post (said slower shaking my head in an up and down motion).
I will leave you with a picture of a few of the AWESOME lives God has given to me and Danny! Have a good day!

Can't Find the Words to Explain This.....

Auld Lang Syne Day
At 2:00pm, we pulled out of Lynchburg after a brief stop at Kroger's to buy Pamper's Diapers and Easy Ups. They had these on sale for $8.49 a package. With my $2.00 off coupons I was able to save lots of $$$$. I bought 4 packages and saved $8.00! (Trying to be a P31.)On to Atlanta. We went to visit Danny's sister Debbie, her husband Randy, and 4 daughters Sydney, Stella, Milly, and Beatrice. We arrived at about 10:15 after a painfully long trip. (Side note to our old neighbors Allie and Matt, we wanted to stop by and say hello but time was ticking and Debbie and Randy were waiting on us for a New Years Eve dinner. We did stop off at Hamilton Mill to get coffee at Starbucks. All we can say is WOW! We miss Buford!)
New Years Day, Aunt Debbie multi-tasking as she turns on the Wii (is that how you spell it) and plays with Beatrice at the same time.
Dan Dan bowling on the Wii. Look how awed the dads are. Funny! Another side note--Randy and Debbie just moved into this house. The majority of their furniture is up in Wisconsin, as they are trying to sell their home up there. Anyone want to buy a 5/4/2 home in Madison, Wisconsin?
Uncle Randy and Beatrice. I called her "oatmeal cream pie" because she is clone of Debbie---get it---Little Debbie!?
We went to our favorite Atlanta restaurant for lunch, Ted's Montana Grill. What a treat! All I can say is Yummy to our tummy! Google it! If you have one near you, go! I think there are a few children missing in this picture.
Time to go! One last picture before we get in the truck. Beatrice couldn't make the shoot. She opted for a nap.

We went to the new Publix that just opened a few blocks up the road. I made a big pot of White Chili, and Danny and I are about to watch a couple movies we just rented from Blockbuster. It is nice to be home. Thank you Jesus for a great safe Christmas vacation!
