Zippity Do Dah Vaca!

Without any further delay, I give you, Disney....again.

Doing it again! Our kids just DON'T get enough!
Notice a sleeping Margaux in the stroller and Harry Jack
more interested in the train behind us.
A quick tea partay with Aunt Dawnie.
While the Graham's decided to wait in line for an hour for
the Dumbo ride, we decided to play in the water fountains at Ariel's Grotto.

Then, we took the cheaters "we rode the Dumbo ride" picture.

Ahem, Yo! My homie Harry Jack! Your boxer briefs are showin a bit.

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's! Our favorite! The highlight of our trip. Can anyone say, yummy for my tummy?

Margaux loved the characters! She kept saying "Me, Me" in her
highchair, as if she was trying to call the characters to our table.

This would have been a framer if it weren't so bright behind sweet Minnie. One of the reasons we LOVE Chef Mickey's is because of the YUMMY Donuts and Candy you can have for breakfast. For part of Dan Dan's breakfast he had a plate of Gummy Bears.
Chef Mickey's is a happening place. Harry Jack had to plug his ears because the "party" song was too loud.
Blizzard Beach! Another one of our Disney Favorites! Can anyone find Dan Dan?

Auntie Dawnie catching up on the latest "People."
Getting ready to get really messy...
...that Oreo was de-lish!
This is why I don't bring Cheetos into my home. You cannot see it here, but there is orange funk all over Harry Jack's mouth. Nasty!
There you have it. Next, sweet Virginny!
So, cue the music.
M-I-C...see ya real soon.
K-E-Y...why, because this momma is going home!
H-O-U-S-E.....

Okay, NEW POST!

This past month the children's ministry at our church has been teaching the K-5th graders in a unit called Zooplosion! Anyway, my sweet husband made sure the children had something to look forward to each week as they came to church to learn about God, in Zooplosion.

Each weekend for church we had a different animal in the parking lot to greet the children as they came to church. We had a python, an elephant, two baby tigers, and this week two of the cutest little monkeys.

This morning I had the chance to play with these little moneys before Danny took them on stage to do the intro for adult worship. They were so cute!

This elephant was HUGE! The trainer is underneath him. This man used to work in a circus and now he owns and takes care of all sorts of circus animals.

Last, here are two of my little circus animals. This was the cutest thing to watch. Harry Jack taught Margaux how to push him around the house on his little car. She does a great job. They just laugh and laugh. So cute!

An Annoying URR! (Under the Radar Reader)

Wow, what a tense few days. Ever since Graham Central Station decided to go private, the blog world has been shaken a little. It even shook Simply Smalley into going private. Now I am wondering myself if I should do it too.

I really have not had any situations with URR (Under the Radar Readers) like some of my blog friends have...although I do have a lurker out of the Washington, D.C. area. I'll just call him BB.

Good ole BB frequently googles my sister Dolly Seckman, Darla Seckman, Dolly Reber Seckman, (any combination of her name), to find out what she is up to. When he googles her, my blog comes up if I have mentioned her in my posts OR by any comments left with her name in it. Bingo, BB gets the 411 on my sister.

You see BB and Dolly used to be close friends. He is now married and I think he has a child or two. Anyway, for some reason BB is still interested in Dolly. Hmmmm, weird! Embarrassing, actually, for him!!! Situations like this are why blogs are going private.

So, my lurker out of Washington, D.C, I know who you are. Why don't you take the time you spend googling my sister and spend it with your WIFE!

How do I know? Blog stats! Every good blogger has them. They don't give personal names of who is viewing your blog, but it does give enough information to figure out some of the URR's. BB, yours was too easy to figure out!

So, I say all this to say, that I will more than likely be going private too. I don't know when. I have some interesting (to say the least) blog material in the works...Family coming to visit...A vaca to Disney...Going home to old Virginny for a visit...Redecorating Maddie and Danny's new bedrooms...Ooooh! So much good material. You're gonna want to stay tuned to MLISWFL. But, never fear blog friends, I will soon go private too!

What's for Din Din tonight?

We have been a little sick here lately and I don't feel like doing anything! Harry Jack, Margaux and I keep passing a cold or something back and forth. For the past two nights I have been unable to sleep because my nose and lips hurt from me blowing my nose so much! Me tired and I am going to try take a nap today with Margaux and Harry Jack.
Anyway, as far as din din tonight...Last night I was not feeling well, and I was able to make leftover steak and spinach salad look really good for me and Danny. The children had hot dogs and apples, which sadly they are having again for lunch today. Tonight I don't feel like cooking a big meal so I plan to make one of our quick favorites and I thought I'd pass it along.
This is fast and easy. Whenever I make it there are never any leftovers. We call it "bow tie pasta with broccoli and sausage". See, easy name!
Brown up some sausage with a little diced garlic, then drain grease.
Boil up some bow tie pasta.
Steam up some broccoli florets or baby broccoli.
Mix it all up together with some Alfredo sauce.
You got some bow tie pasta with broccoli and sausage.
Danny always tops his off with some Franks Hot Sauce and I must say, it adds a bit of yummy zing to the pasta. I like to grind sea salt over mine.
Anyway, that's about all that's going on in MLSWF for today.

Georgia Anne Update

Little Georgia Anne is doing wonderful and Sara looks GREAT!!!! It is like she was never pregnant. (Grrrr--just kidding Sara).

Anyway, I just wanted to let all my blogger friends know that "Georgia On My Mind" is Sara's idea/title for a blog she would like to start. I just sadly stole it to introduce you all to my newest niece. (I am sorry Sara! What was I thinking? I am admittedly losing it!)

So blogger's, lets get our hands together to welcome a new member to the blog world. "Sara, Sara, Sara, Sara!"

Georgia on Their Mind!

He did it again! God once again blessed the Logan family with another baby! On Thursday, April 3, Miss Georgia Anne Logan came into the world just as healthy and BEAUTIFUL as she could be! Very proud parents (and rightly so) are David and Sara Logan, which I must say are adapting incredibly well to parenthood!

Congratulations to my brother and sister in law! I am so happy that you have Georgia on your mind!

My brother and sister in law, David and Sara Logan, a little over year before their sweet Georgia Anne. Pay no attention to the baby in Sara's arms. That is not Georgia Anne, just some other random sweet baby girl. This is the only picture of had of the proud parents to be!

Just popped out TWO weeks early! Every pregnant mom's dream!

Little Miss Georgia Anne, two days old.

Ahoy Maties! We sail!

First of all, me so tired! Me so sun burnt! I am posting this tonight so my sweet parents and sisters can see some of our Florida fun!

Today some friends of ours, from church, Dennis and Molly Smith, treated us to a day on the water. At 9:30 this morning Danny, Harry Jack, Margaux and I met Mr. Dennis and Ms. Molly at the Fishery and boarded their BEAUTIFUL boat! (Thank you to the Heather and Tim Rodriguez for keeping Maddie and Danny for us all day!)

We had no idea what we were in for. The water was beautiful and the temperature was perfect. We saw so much wildlife! For the first time I actually saw manatees in the water! That was cool!

We also saw dolphin and a sting ray JUMPING out of the water--4 times!!!! (FYI last week a lady died down here due to a sting ray jumping out of the water and colliding with her as they sped by in their boat. YIKES!)

We had a yummy lunch of "fish and chips" at a little marina and saw all kinds of beautiful $$$$ houses along Boca Grande and Gasparilla. Mom and Dad, you would have loved it! Parts of it reminded me of our days of cruising Smith Mt. Lake. (sniff sniff)

Harry Jack did GREAT! Margaux started out a bit cranky but ended up sleeping most of the trip. You just cannot beat the "wind, the sun, and the sand and everything" right Daddy?? (Little family joke.) We pulled back into the Fishery around 3:00. GREAT DAY!

Here are some pictures from our day! Have a good weekend everyone!

Sacrificial Praise

Okay, I rarely go deep, but today I came across something that hit me right in the forehead! No, not literally, figuratively.

I had just finished a phone conversation in which I was discussing various concerns and sadness with the person on the phone with me. I hung up and breathed a quick prayer begging God to please fix a few things ASAP.

I made lunch for the children and then started to prepare a study guide for a Bible quiz in Maddie's LUOA , and this is when it hit me.

Hebrews 13:15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise, the fruits of lips that confess His name.

Embarrassingly, as I read this 4th grade curriculum, I learned what true sacrificial praise is. As stated in this 4th grade curriculum,

"It is very hard to praise God, when things are going wrong. God calls this a sacrifice of praise because it hurts to praise God when things are going wrong. A sacrifice of praise gets our mind on God and off of the problem. Praising God even when things are not going right shows others our love for God. "

It is hard to praise God when I am in the middle of frustration. But I learned today , via 4th grade, that maybe this is when I need to praise God the most. I was convicted.

Just passing along what I learned!
