Last night our church hosted our yearly Independence Day celebration for our little community. It was almost a wash out, due to a huge thunderstorm an hour before it was supposed to begin. But, soon the rain stopped and left behind a VERY humid and warm, but fun evening. The children had fun playing on all the bounce houses and water slides and the whole event was a success for the South Biscayne staff, who all worked extremely hard preparing for it!

Just go to potterybarnkids.com and click on the sale icon and then on baby clothes and then just click on the "view all." I just got Margaux all sorts of things for the fall and spring and a little sum sum-pin for baby Mick.

So if you have a little one under the age of 36 months, OR if you are buying for an up coming baby shower (ahem) this is the time to buy. Just passing along some goodness to you, mi amigas!

This morning Danny and I were laying in bed talking about this past week of VBS, which ended last night. Maddie was at a friends house and the boys were watching TV in the living room and Margaux was playing on the floor beside the bed---being SO good and SO quite. All of a sudden Harry Jack came into our room and said, "Oh my star's. Margaux!" Danny and I looked down at Margaux on the floor and saw her covered in my lipstick! The lipstick tube is empty! What didn't make it on her hands and face must have been eaten because the roof of her mouth is was coated with a nice layer of waxing lipstick.

She is proud of herself and at least she knows what it is and where it goes! It could have been worse...it could have been smeared into my carpet!

CAUTION: When you get a TUBAL LIGATION, make sure you still have some sort of back up protection plan!!!!!

Finally, I had some time to scan and post this picture of Maddie in the LUOA brochure. This is just a small piece of the mailing. It was too big to scan it all. I tried and tried to blow this up, but I am still a bit techno challenged so this is as good as it gets.
