Yesterday afternoon my mother, sweet Jenius, sent me her copy of Redeeming Love. I had planned to start reading it on Sunday when Danny, Maddie and Dan Dan left for church camp.
Well, I started to read it last night and was up until 3:30am, this morning, reading it, when I had to make myself put it down. The prologue made me leery due to the sadness, but I continued to the first chapter and couldn't stop reading.
This is the same way I felt when I read The DaVinci Code. Anyway, if you have not read it, try it. It is a page turner.
Thanks to Crumbs for reminding me of this book I have been wanting to read for years.

Thank you Nikki!
On Friday I received a surprise package in the mail from my good friend from Lynchburg, Nikki Hogsed. She sent me two of the cutest pillow case dresses for sweet Margaux Jeanne.
Nikki is very crafty and is always making something cute, usually with a monogram on it, which makes it extra nice and extra personal!
Thank you for the sweet dresses Nikki! They help bring a bit of "Southern Sweetness" to "Flip Flop Florida."

Cute Web Sites
The other day while I was at my doctor appointment I came across some sweet baby web sites as I was reading "Cookie" magazine. I think a while back a few of my blog friends were looking for tutu's. Well, I found a great site. And, I think what you are looking for are petticoats, not tutu's.
For absolutely adorable petticoats go to Tutu Posh and click on petticoats. YOU WILL LOVE THEM! There are all sorts of styles. They are a bit costly, but the time and energy it would take to buy the fabric and sew something this detailed and totally adorable, is worth the money the website is charging. Actually the whole website is really neat.
Also, I found another cute little website for baby slippers, called Isa Booties.
By the way, Cookie magazine is only about $13 or $14 for a year subscription, including shipping. They have all sorts of cute baby and children's ideas. I just ordered myself a subscription. And, I think the editor of Cookie is Gilman's (from Regis and Kelly) wife. Just some info for you.

A Schweet Day!
Today was the day of our long awaited ultra sound for little "tubal-ligation baby Logan." After 5 babies, I was finally able to have a 3D ultrasound! Very Cool! Very nice surprise.
Here are some videos of our baby. Please bear with me, this is for my mom, dad and sisters. I know that these are hard to see/understand what things are, but hopefully you can see distinguishable parts of the baby. I will try to explain as we go.

This is the best still 3D picture we have. Above the head you can see the baby's hand and fingers. The little bubbles to the side of the face is the umbilical cord.
Okay, no laughing, but when I saw this on the screen, I thought, "Little Baby Dawn." I don't know why, the baby just looked like some of Dawn's infant pictures.
And, last but not least, the little feet below are exactly one inch long! So cute! So schweet! We have again been blessed with a healthy baby so far! What a true blessing!
I am SO excited!
And, no we didn't find out the gender. I am guessing a girl, due to the fast 147 beat heart rate. But, I guessed boy with Margaux due to her slower 130 heart beat and I was wrong. Oh well, 20 more weeks until the surprise. And mom, the "package" is in the mail.

Debbie Downer
This past week I must admit, I have felt somewhat like a...
I have not been in the mood to blog.
There has been so much on my mind, pulling me down in a bad mood. My sweet husbands job that is a part of our DAILY life...my sisters friend being very ill and then passing away...
...our house has being up for sale for over a year and a half now. Maaaybe 10 people have physically looked at it. No offers...obviously no buyers.
My husband has been on the "maintaining part" of his diet and is STILL losing weight putting us in close range to each other due to my gaining weight with pregnancy. It has FORCED me to get on the tread mill each morning for a 2 mile brisk walk on a 2 -2.5 incline. I am proud to say I have successfully walked EVERYDAY this week (8 miles to date) and plan to keep it up.
I miss my family...really bad!
I am having such a Debbie Downer week, I STOOPED to the low level of buying and making a Chicken Helper meal for my children and I to eat tonight. I say stoop because I NEVER buy this type of food product. In my opinion, this type of food product is the cheaters way out to cooking. Plus it is usually nasty--it was. But I was a P31 wife in searching the field/clearance shelf at Target and got this box of nasty food product for 78 cents!!!!!! It was originally $1.99. Of course my love did not partake of this nastiness. He had a nicely prepared fresh chicken breast on top of a spinach and strawberry salad. My mothering skills have also stooped to an all time low, making me doubt just about everything about me, "Mommy." There are always the daily challenges that make ones day turn into a Debbie Downer Day...Like Dan Dan spilling a whole gallon of freshly made tea all over the floor yesterday morning while I was walking on the treadmill. OR, My boys getting in trouble at JoAnn Fabric by an employee telling them to stop playing in the doorway of the stock room, triggering the sensor bell to ding..and ding...and ding..they thought it was hilarious!
OR again, my boys playing hide and seek under the shelves of "baby gear" in the baby department at Target, only to have a "sheshe poopoo" lady watching them and me while more than likely thinking to herself, "YOU HAVE ANOTHER ONE ON THE WAY???"
And let's not forget my DD moment when Harry Jack had to go potty so bad on the way home from church last night that he pee'd in his pants in his car seat.
Ahhhhhh.....
On a lighter note, Harry Jack, at 3 1/2, has learned to swim. He is the one in the navy/green and white swim trunks.
He is so cute to watch swim. He is like a fish. He is full of energy!AND...
I think I FINALLY felt my baby move! Thank you Jesus. This has been a small quiet stress to me because I felt my other babies move at earlier weeks then 19 weeks with this baby.
No picture. Just look at Dolly's picture and then add about 2 inches to her belly and BAM! That's me...at 19 weeks!
So, here's to my Debbie Downer week.
On a sincere note, Thank you Jesus that we are safe and healthy, a positive in any DD week.
It's the weekend!
WhaaaHoooo!
This Debbie Downer post has led me to also post a poll. Take a moment to vote (at upper right of this blog). I vote for someone to cook us 3 healthy meals a day!
(And clean up the kitchen too!)
