It is Sunday night and my parents, Dawn and our BIG family of 7 are all sitting around watching Christmas With the Krank's. I am finally getting a chance to download pictures and post about our exciting week of our sweet Baby Jane's birth.
On Tuesday evening my parents and Dawn flew into St Petersburg. It was just in time too. Wednesday morning I had a doctor appointment and as Danny and I were leaving to go to the doctor, my dad told me to bring my suitcase "just in case." Well, " Father Knows Best." When we got to the doctor I was 3 cm dilated, so my doctor said, "Let's have a baby TODAY!"
Danny and I left the the doctors office with BIG smiles on our face! As we walked across the street to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, it finally hit us, we were having our FIFTH baby!
To make a long story short, 3 hours and about 60 seconds of pushing later, our sweet blessing, Ashley Jane was born! We are so happy and so thankful for this sweet miracle God blessed us with.
Special thanks to my parents and Dawn for helping us so much this week. They have been incredible! I have truly relaxed and slept so much!
And thank you to our Harrison Jack who now is happily sharing his birthday with his new baby sister!
Below are a few pictures of our week with Ashley Jane! These are happy times!

Maddie's Cute Thanksgiving Centerpiece
Maddie says it is easy to make. Just cut the top off a pumpkin. Scoop out the seeds. Put a small piece of floral foam in the pumpkin. Then add fresh flowers, and water.
You could even buy little tiny pumpkins and do the same thing. Then, add a name place card to your flowers for each plate at your Thanksgiving table, to show your guests where to sit.

Just me, Having a NICE shower!
Gotcha with my title huh?
Today, one of my friends from high school, Nikki, is giving me a "Blog Baby Shower." Who would have thought??? Only Nikki! She is always thinking of neat, new, crafty, creative ideas and this idea has got to be one of her best ones yet!
The neatest thing about this, is that the people coming to my Blog Baby Shower are people that would have otherwise never been able to attend a local baby shower because they all live out of the state of Florida. Can you believe two of the people coming to my shower, I have NEVER met? They are blog friends that live far far away from me.
So you are probably asking, "How is Nikki giving me a blog baby shower?" Well, a week or so ago, she posted an invite on her blog, with instructions on how to "attend" the shower. Anyone who wanted to participate in the shower accepted the invitation via her comment section. Then Nikki asked them to email her their address so she could send them a PARTY FAVOR!!! How cool is that!

This past week, the attendees received their favors and I received this beautiful banner to hang in my house today. And, because we don't know if the baby is a boy or a girl, Nikki included both a boy and girl banner piece. Which, by the way, I am taking the banner to the hospital to hang on my room door.
So, today is going to be a fun day as we all partake in this new techno savvy way of having a baby shower. I really am curious to see what's in store, and I'll admit, I'm a bit nervous as I sit here on my shower day--no make up on, hair pulled back, barefoot and very pregnant.
Nikki you have made me feel very special today. Thank you for pulling together so many friends and family for me! I am a very blessed person.
