New Blogger and FREE Milk!

A friend of mine, named Kim (click here to see her blog), just entered the blogging world. I love her blog because she has lots of little tid-bits on ways to save money and links for freebies and coupons.

I just tried out this link, click here, on Kim's blog, and signed up for a chance to get FREE milk for a year. I think one of those contests that you enter daily to see if you are the winner that day. Anyway, there is this great coupon to print off after you sign up for the chance to get free milk. The coupon is for a free gallon of of milk with $100 of groceries purchased--which I do in a heart beat with my big family!

So, go to the above link and try to win free milk for a year AND print your free milk coupon!

My Personal, At Home, Coffee House!

This past weekend my mom (aka Jenius), my sister (Dolly), my daughter (Maddie) and I spent about 4 hours in the Charlotte Ikea. Seriously, 4 hours!

As we were sliding down the aisles(the floors are nice and smooth and Dolly and I were sliding around in our boots--for the fun of it of course, not because we kept falling), I found this nifty battery operated milk frother for only $1.99.

I thought to myself, "hmm, it's worth a try."

I'm not gonna lie to you folks--LOVE IT!

Warm up some milk and then froth it.

Add to a fresh half cup of coffee.

Add a little bit of Starbucks flavored syrup--just happen to have some on hand thanks to the Carter's--a special family down in Florida who know how much I love SCM's (Skinny Caramel Macchiatos).
(About $10.00 for a small bottle at Starbucks.)

Add some drizzled caramel topping and you've got yourself a Skinny Caramel Macchiato. Just a little bit of at home luxury in my day!

New Years Eve--Wooohooo!

Finally a week later, I am posting our New Years pictures. Here it goes...
Me, Dawn, Dolly and Donna with two of our friends, Teecy (a.k.a. Kimmy Gibler from Full House), and Kim. These girls are crazy and keep me laughing!

Donna, a.k.a. Richard Dawson, explaining the rules to our New Years Family Feud game. The questions came from currents events from 2000-2009.
Dolly and I matching off. I cannot remember the question, but Dolly won.

The next few pictures are of us sitting around waiting for the ball to drop in NYC.

Just a few more minutes till 2010.
My sister Dayna and 3 of her 4 children.
Donna trying to steal a New Years kiss from Harry Jack.

If you cannot tell from the pictures above, one of my sisters REALLY gets into New Year's Eve. Its okay! She adds a special spark to our family. She makes us laugh and we love to watch her entertain us! Donna you make New Years Eve fun! Thank you my sweets!
