Halloween 2011
Sadly now that it is almost Christmas, I am getting to document a bit our our lives two months ago. This year Dolly, Michael and Eleanore went with Margaux, Jane and I to Liberty to hand out candy to Danny's students and faculty.
In front of DeMoss trying to get a picture with the sun shining in our faces. We had 2 lady bugs, 1 Pinocchio, and a Mermaid.
Ready to go!
Then we went to see Uncle Leland at his print shop, BUT not before Dolly decided to yell "Go Liberty" and "Get to Convo" to the students as we drove out of the university.
She is one crazy girl!
Mr. and Mrs. Seckman and Uncle Leland
Then, on to see Auntie Dawnie at Mail America.
Later on Halloween night--which was FREEZING by the way, Danny took Harry Jack, Margaux and Jane around our neighborhood to go trick or treating.
And one last picture of Maddie as she was getting ready to leave for a Halloween party.
Animal Parade
Just a few days before Halloween, Margaux's preschool had an animal parade. It started at the preschool and ended up at the front of the church lobby.
It was very sweet. Seriously! All sorts of people lined the big long hallway (Main Street) to see the animals, each parent beaming with pride as their "animal" went by. Below are a few pictures of our sweet little animal!
Although it's hard to tell, Margaux is a Kitty Cat--Hello Kitty to be exact!
Jane and Michael (bitter/SWEET cousins at 6 weeks apart) came with me to watch the parade. They were so cute!

Happy Birthday Danny
Okay, so October FLEW by! We had a few important events that happened this past month. One of the most important was that our Danny Boy turned ELEVEN on October 3!
We celebrated his special day a couple days early with 8 of his friends coming over to spend the night: Juette, Joey, Cooper, Landon, Luke, Josh, Harrison, and James.
I sent the girls with my parents and sisters for the night and me and Danny hunkered down with Dandan's friends and Harry Jack. It was one fun, (smelly) night, with very little sleep! We really had fun getting to know these boys! They really were a nice group!
Below are a few pictures of our night.

Here is a video of Dandan's friends singing Happy Birthday to him.
And lastly, here is me and my Danny right before he blew out the candles at our family birthday party! Danny really has grown up a lot this past year. He is maturing very nicely and I am so very proud of the little man he is becoming!

Jim Bob and Michelle
Today was an exciting day for Dolly, Maddie and me. This morning I took Maddie out of school. We got on a Liberty University bus at her school campus and went to...

Liberty University Convocation!

Okay, seriously, WE WERE PUMPED! Not so much "groupie pumped" more like "WOW" pumped.

About 9:30 this morning, they walked right into the back of Vines Center, got behind the podium for a little press conference and were SO kind and sweet to the people asking them questions.
THEY WERE SO SWEET TO EACH OTHER--almost like boyfriend/girlfriend sweet, which was VERY refreshing--and a bit of a reminder to me to be more like that with this handsome man...

...My Love!
And I need to say, Michelle--even prettier in person! Angelic pretty! And for having 19 children (is it 19 or 20?) SHE LOOKS GREAT!
We got to say a brief hello. They were very kind to us as we really have NO IDEA what we were saying to them. As we said good bye I said something like, "Okay, we'll see you on TV." Are you kidding me--is that what I said???? Maybe I am a groupie???
I cannot imagine the cost of bringing in the whole Duggar family, but the 5 oldest daughters did come and they played their violins in convocation.
Ginger, was there!!! She is our favorite! Why? Because she seems like she would be the one in the family who would do something crazy---conservative crazy.
Dolly REALLY soaked up every word Jim Bob and Michelle said!
All in all it was a fun morning! I cannot say enough good things about Liberty University. Love it! Love being a part of this school, this church, this ministry, this life that has had a huge part in shaping me into who I am!
And my sweet Maddie Girl, we had an absolutely delightful day together. Ooh I love that girl!

First Day of Preschool for Sweet Margaux Jeanne!
This morning Danny and I took Margaux to school. She rode with me and was saying some of the sweetest things like, "Mommy, it sure is a beautiful day today." And I loved hearing her sing "What A Mighty God We Serve," as if she were the only one in the truck. It was a special morning.
When we got to school Margaux met her first friend, Hadley, who's mom was in my sister Dolly's class (I think) years ago.
A goodbye picture with me...
one with Danny.
Margaux's first bag of school supplies.
Playing Ring Around the Rosie with her teacher Mrs. Everett.
And, getting ready to color a picture with her other teacher Mrs. Dawson, who was in my sisters Donna's class (I think) years ago.
This has been a good day! A day that my heart was smiling with precious thoughts of our sweet Margaux Jeanne!

Boys Weekend...And they're home SAFE!!!!
This past weekend Danny took the boys on a little trip. They went back to visit one of our old stomping grounds, Atlanta, Georgia, home of the Atlanta Braves!
My boys love baseball and when I say love baseball, I mean LOVE it! The game started at 1:35 pm and they were at the park by 11:00 am. They were so early for the game that they were able to get upfront parking. They were FIRST IN LINE to get in the park!
...and some new ball caps.
This big guy (below) was REALLY pumped to be there.
His love for baseball is what
drives the boys love for baseball.

I believe Danny's exact words to me, as he climbed into bed at 5:00 in the morning on Monday, were something like, "If I could do that whole weekend again, I'd get back in the car right now and do it."
After the game they had dinner at a local Atlanta hang-out, The Varsity.
It is a treat to dine there!
They left Atlanta at 9:00 at night. Harry Jack was out in a matter of minutes. Dandan made it a couple of hours before he was out. My sweet love drove all the way home that night. They pulled into the garage at 4:30 am, and I was one happy girl to see them safe at home!
