After a very long wait this winter season, we finally got some snow! It came at a weird time weather wise, but now worries, we'll take it!
Margaux and Jane playing on the back porch Sunday night in their pj's, as the snow was falling.
Above are pictures of the snow coming down Sunday evening. It was so beautiful, SO cozy! It is always so peacefully quiet during a snowfall--I LOVE IT!
The children played outside all Sunday afternoon. Today we were all outside by 10:00 heading across the street to my sister Dolly's house to go sledding.
Dolly getting pulled by DanDan in the sled, with Harry Jack and Michael beside her.
Margaux started the morning crying. She actually started crying in the house before we came outside. I'm still not sure why. Nothing, I mean NOTHING made her happy.
DanDan getting ready to go down the hill.
Jane taking a ride in the Sllled! (that's how she said it)
A non-masked picture of DanDan.
Still crying...
Sweet babygirl!
Dolly trying to go over a "bump" on the hill. (She wiped out!)
Me and Jane.
That's right...crying!
Dolly and Michael...
...getting ready to...
...wipe out!
Not kidding! STILL crying!
Jane and Michael, I tell you what, these two sweet babies are the funniest! They can be mad at each other one minute and hugging on each other the next. They are really funny to watch!
Dolly and Jane.
And last but not least...
...finally right before we went in for lunch,
I got a smile out of this sweet girl!
I just realized I didn't get any pictures of Harry Jack, or Maddie. They were there too, I don't know why I didn't get pictures of them???? Anyway, we played hard today, so hard I had to pass out some Tylenol to a few kiddos. Now we're all sitting around watching a little TV. We just found out school is delayed 2 hours tomorrow, yippeee! Thank you Jesus for giving us a beautiful snowfall to play in on this 2012 President's Day!
