The Randomness Of June

A few random moments from June.....

One day this little one climbed up on the couch and laid down behind me. After a few minutes I realized he had fallen asleep.

Cute little dirty sleeping face.

Speaking of dirty face.......
This one loves to eat and play in dirt. She is actually a Berg boy dressed in pink.

James found somewhere in the kitchen to curl up in a blanket and hide. He was quite proud of himself.

This boy attended cub scout day camp last month and we needed a new uniform to celebrate. Isn't he handsome! He loved day camp. They let him shoot a bb gun, ride in a canoe, shoot a bow and arrow, make crafts, and all sorts of other things. It was all kinds of fun.

These are the three primary presidency prisoners. Rebekah and her cohorts Maisy and Iris. Their mamas are in the primary presidency and they are not quite old enough to attend nursery yet. We try to leave them in the pack and play as long as possible during sharing time. Eventually they refuse to be contained and cry bloody murder. It's so hard to be them.

A handsome and clean Caleb fresh from the shower.

Ditto for my Adam.

I love these boys.

And I absolutely adore that big one right there. What an amazing dad he is!

Bridal Veil Falls

Bridal Veil Falls is one of our favorite places to visit. It's super close to our house and involves water, rocks, and paved walkways. What more could you ask for?

Eric climbing the falls with our four hooligans.

They couldn't see me from where they were but Eric tired to pose them and convince them to smile for the camera anyway.

As you can see, they were quite far away.

Playing on the rocks with the masses.

Sweet James and Adam in the background.

This girl has daddy wrapped around her little finger.

And she deserves every minute of his attention. Look at that cute pink thing!

Look at those handsome boys!

Quite a pose my Caleb!

Perfection!

On the way to and from the falls we explored the stream that ran along the path.

David loves running water.

Streams are better with no shoes.

This makes me happy.

And so does this. These are mine!

We were presented with a handy tree for climbing.

Adam is so talented.

As is James.

It was a super fun outing.....

Orem Summerfest

The Berg family attended Orem Summerfest this year and we had a blast!

Eric and David on the ferris wheel.

Adam and James had a seat to themselves which freaked me out just a little bit but no one fell out so I guess it was a successful ride.

Up high in the sky!

The carousel was quite a hit. Excuse David's red face. It was super hot for a day outside.

Blissfully happy James.

Adam and Caleb are so good they can chat while they ride.

Eric tried to put Rebekah on this horse. As you can see, she was thoroughly distrustful of the animal and its intentions.

A roller coaster for the littles.

Love how this picture captures their different personalities. Caleb's expression is especially humourous.

Rebekah was not a fan of the heat and there were few rides that she could go on but she was a good sport overall.

This is the car the Berg boys decided to climb into......

And this is where David sat. Don't try to make him be a part of the crowd....

A pretty girl and her daddy.

Adam was too big for this ride which was a weird and cool experience for him. He's never been "too big" for anything before.

Eric really had this cup going in circles until one of the boys freaked out and he had to slow down. I can only imagine what a ride like this will be like when they are all ten years older.

After we rode some rides we decided it was time to eat some fair food. Rebekah thought that was a VERY good idea.

A sweaty but happy David.

James showing off his yummy chicken nugget.

And Caleb following suite.

Orem Summerfest was WAY too much fun.

David's Is Three!

Our sweet David turned three last month and we had all sorts of fun birthday celebrations.

David dearly wanted a water table for his birthday which was funny since it was what he got last year from Aunt Kate. Granted he had already broken the one from last year but it is amusing that his interests remained the same from one birthday to the next.

The Berg boys are very good helpers when it comes to opening other people's presents.

Rejoicing over his new water scoop.

This was the first and last time the new water table had all it's parts put together in the right order. We have creative children.....

Water table bliss.

James thought it was a pretty sweet gift.

And Caleb was a good sport to smile for the camera.

Sweet Adam.

Adam, Caleb, and James wanted to visit the dollar store to buy David some gifts which was very thoughtful of them. As you can see, they somehow managed to buy presents that they were far more interested in than he was.

Far more interested........

Aunt Kate made another masterpiece birthday cake to celebrate our new three-year-old. He adored it. Especially the Paw Patrol toys that Aunt Kate used for decorations.

Happily waiting for his birthday song so he can eat cake!

The moment the song was over he grabbed for the toys and wouldn't let them go of them for days.

He liked them so much that we purchased more from the set online with his remaining birthday money.

He was super excited when they arrived in the mail a few days later.

Paw Patrol galore!

The same day new legos arrived from Grandma Pamela. We love new legos!

It was a pretty good birthday if he does say so himself.
