Morgan Lauren Emery & Paige

We have much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving...starting out with this little girl!!

She LOVES her sling! And I can do pretty much anything with this thing...sweep, mop, dust, pee, make the bed, fold laundry, etc....its the greatest thing ever!

Does life get any better than this?? I get to hang out with the sweetest little girl on the planet all day long...

We had a fun little photo shoot in my parents back yard today :)

She was a little jaundice so she had to do some sun bathing before we could take her home....:(

I came across this video and laughed my head off...(please let me know if you think its as funny as I did) So I wanted to post it to share the laughter and thought, "hey! i might as well share some news as well!" So sticking with the "baby" theme...enjoy!

And on to the news portion...Is it just me or does it feel like everyone is having a babies?? Emery will be my parents 13th grandbaby...my brother Matt and his wife Courtney are expecting their first in March so thats number 14 and THEN

My brother Dave and his wife Jess just recently announced that number 15 is coming in May!! These pictures were taken at Daves 30th birthday celebration and what a celebration it was... :) aw...so needless to say we're all sooo very excited to meet these little ones!

The past week has been the longest I think this entire pregnancy....I don't think doctors should be allowed to say when they think you'll give birth....let me explain why...At my last appointment (Thursday last week) I was 3 cm dialated and about 80% effaced at which time my obstetrician (who I really like) said "you've done really well for a first time mom! Go ahead and make an appointment for one week but i'm sure i'll see you in the hospital before then :)". Well, its about 8:00 Wednesday night and i'm still pregnant. On Sunday my mom, sister Eda and I went for a long walk hoping to get things going....but nothing. All I got out of it was great conversation and a sore pelvis. So after two days of recovery I decided to try another walk. This time I waddled my way from my house to my parents which is about 2 miles and here I am!



Morgan had class tonight so he got here around 7 to eat and take me home :) So far I haven't had a single contraction so unless something crazy happens tonight, I'll be getting my membranes stripped in the morning. Oh we shall see! :)

Last Saturday Morgan and I spruced up our front yard with some flowers for Emery. Yes, its not the best time to be planting flowers with the weather as hot as its been but we figured we'd give it a try :) Its been about a week and the poor little things aren't quite as beautiful as they are in these pictures....but they were lovely while they lasted! When it gets a little cooler we'll try again....

Morgan and I had fun taking pictures of this belly of mine...I can't believe how close we are to the end! AH! As of Thursday last week i'm dialated to a "2 plus" and about 70% effaced, yay! But Emery and I had a heart to heart the other day and we decided if she isn't ready to come yet, thats just fine and we can be patient BUT whenever she's ready i'm ready :) So i guess now we wait! My next appointment is Thursdays so we'll see how things are going then!



(Please notice the Neds Crazy Sub cup of the table....yes, i'm pretty sure we're there once a week at least....it always seems to hit the spot)

Is that really me? I'm still shocked everytime I see my reflextion....wow.
