A Bundle of Joy on The Way!

I guess you can tell from the new blog title what this post is about! Baby Faucett is expected to arrive October 31st! Most people might have been a little upset with this due date, but we are super excited about having a Halloween Baby. Halloween has always been Ben's favorite holiday and has slowly become one of my favorites. I know that it is probably a little early to tell people, but we have already been to the doctor, heard the heart beat and were told everything looked great! It was amazing! I will post an ultrasound picture soon, but it is basically a little blob right now. I go back to the doctor on April 13th, so keep us and our new addition in your prayers.

A Night With Friends

Tuesday night I spent some time with two of my best friends from High School. I have been friends with Patrick and Maegan since middle school (Maegan really since Elementary School). Patrick is working for the Secret Service, so he is living in Washington protecting the President. We hadn't seen him in almost a year! We had such a fun time catching up! Please keep Patrick in your prayers as he has a pretty stressful job!

My Sweet Dogs

I can't go too long without posting pictures of my babies!

A New Find

Me and Jamie went shopping one weekend and stumbled upon a store that we both fell in love with! It is called Consigning Interiors. If you love antiques and one of a kind pieces, this is the place for you. The prices were great too! I have a feeling we will be going back on a regular basis! I only ended up buying one thing, but I love it.

This vintage fan was only $12!

Kitchen Update

As I said in my last blog, I had a few things that I still wanted to do to the kitchen. I decided that since our new backsplash had some blue, green and orange shades in it, that I would use that for inspiration for the rest of the kitchen. I have finally got everything the way I want it and I love it!!! Here are some pictures...
These blue curtains are from our first apartment after we got married. I found the striped fabric at Hancocks on clearance for $9 a yard and it had all the right colors in it. So I just sewed a little strip at the bottom to give the curtains some character.

I also covered the chair seats in this same fabric. I bought this fruit at Homegoods. It was the exact colors that I needed.
I bought these plates at Homegoods too. I love the shape of them!
I bought this bulletin board at TJ Maxx on clearance too. We needed a space to get all of our pictures off of our refrigerator.
I bought this picture at Kirklands for $3! I love a bargain! I bought this magnetic knife holder at Target. I have always wanted one of these.
I made a little curtain for the window over the sink in the same striped fabric from Hancocks.
This wire rack and fruit is from Homegoods as well. I guess you can tell that I love that place! I think it is a great store for accessories and always has good prices!

A Snowy Sunday

Our back yard.
Diesel sad because he can't go outside. He didn't really like the snow.

My Kitchen Is Done...For Now

We finally got our backsplash up this weekend and we love it! We have worked hard on making our kitchen a place that we love to be. I think that it has paid off. I love all of it! I am always changing things though, so I can't ever say that it is complete. Here are some pictures of our finished product.

The curtains are one thing that may get changed out soon. The black just isn't doing it for me anymore.
This paper towel holder was in Ben's parents house while he was growing up. He just can't let it go! But it has become a piece of our house too and I think it will stay for while!
These chairs are always getting recovered, so that may be changed out too.
