Madi had a new friend enter the world a couple of weeks ago. Chloe Belle was born January 17th. Her mom, Maegan, is my best friend from elementary school. So of course our children are destined to be best friends. Chloe is so sweet and has the best parents ever! Congrats Maegan and Adam on such a beautiful baby girl!

I am excited to introduce a new blog that I have started with Jamie Grizzle. It is decorating blog that will be full of tips and inspirations for creating a fabulous home on a frugal budget. We had my uncle take some newborn pictures of Madi over Thanksgiving. She was a little fussy that day, but we ended up getting a few really cute shots. My wonderful husband hung them for me the other night and they look great!





I love old photos, so last year for Christmas I asked for wedding pictures of each of our parents and grandparents. These are also hanging in the foyer. I guess our foyer is becoming our family photo center!

Madi's swing has a mirror on it and she has just now found it. She will look at herself and smile and laugh! I guess she thinks she's as cute as we do!

This is how I found Madi this morning when I went to get her out of the car. She had been sleeping at home all morning and I just put her in the car seat in her pajamas and all hoping she wouldn't wake up, but as soon as I started to buckle her in she was bright eyed. I thought for sure she would be awake and upset the whole way to work/ Day School. But she wasn't and I guess this is why!

We have just started showing Madi the Baby Einstein DVD's and she loves them! She will just stare and them and laugh. I was holding her close to the computer to watch them, since she can't see very far away yet, but her Daddy is smart and set up her own movie theatre for her. She had a great time last night watching her movie!

Madi did great at school! She smiled and was happy when I left her and was still smiling when I picked her up. Everytime I went to sneak a peak at her, she was asleep. I missed her so much though!

Madi has been doing so good holding her head up, so we decided to try out the Bumbo chair the other night. She did really good, but she can only stay in it for about 5 minutes right now. That head just gets way to heavy. She is growing every day right before our eyes!
