Kie Kie

Oh kie kie, what can I even say about it??
The amount of love Kepler has for this blanket is big. Nothing can cheer him up like a good snuggle with kie kie. And when he's really into it this special corner gets shoved up his nose, it just fits so perfectly when he's sucking his thumb, and if you're lucky you might even see a little bit of drool running down his arm. One day this might embarrass him, but right now he has nothing but love and pride for this special blankie of his. I want to be grossed out by it, but it's also just so sweet and cute.

Playing Dress Up

It's so fun dressing up your baby in cute little outfits! We have so many nice gifts people have given us, we feel so loved.

This one my mom gave to Jayna and all 3 kids have worn it.

This was hand knitted by someone in our ward!

One of my coworkers gave this to us when we had Jayna, I love the little scrubs!

This was a gift from my mom too and Jayna wore it.

This was one of my favourite cozy outfits for Jayna. I love seeing Keira in the same things Jayna had as a baby.

3 months

Time is flying by! How has it been 3 months already? Keira starting to sleep through the night better, which is the best feeling!!
She's becoming more interactive and aware too and getting stronger.
It's so fun seeing her grow and learn.

She's getting good at holding her head up

And she pretty much has the thumb sucking mastered...

Although we did make a valiant effort with the soother. Our babies just prefer their thumbs!
I kind of can't believe we're 3 for 3 so far with that.

Getting some bigger smiles out of her now

 Love my sweet, squishy baby!

Visitors

Gibb's parents came up to visit last week-end, it was so nice to have them here. Jayna and Kepler were so excited for Grandma and Grandpa to come. They got in some serious fights about who got to sit beside Grandma at dinner, luckily she has 2 sides! I think we had a perfect mix of fun and relaxing.

Jayna got to paint Grandma's toenails

Playing Kepler's favourite game Diggity Dog (or diggity doggity as he calls it). This was a gift from Pat for Kepler's birthday and it is a really fun game for 3 year olds.

We went to the Oil Sands Discovery Centre

Grandpa and Keira in the big truck

  Proof that I was there

We decorated spooky Halloween cupcakes

On Saturday night we got a babysitter and went to the Keg for dinner

Keira putting Grandma to sleep ;)

This week-end was also the Primary Presentation, so they got to see Jayna do her part. She did a great job memorizing her part (we practiced a lot, even Kepler had it memorized).

I'm just realizing that I didn't get very many pictures of Kepler this week-end. The poor neglected middle child...

Keira got lots of extra snuggles all week-end!

It was so fun having visitors, and having some extra help too!

It's Official!

We made a pretty solid effort with the soother last month, I really thought we might have a soother baby this time. But the thumb won out...again! It's hilarious to me that all our kids are thumb suckers. But it's just SO cute, and the help with sleeping through the night really doesn't hurt either.

Blessing Dress

Keira's blessing was in the summer, but I wanted some pictures of just her in her dress. I love that both girls wore this dress that my made, such a special tradition!

Wizzy

Jayna and Kepler have been playing with the black cat named "Wizzy" since the summer. My best guess at where his name came from is that they were always asking "where is he?". He comes to our backyard pretty often and every time they see him out there they run outside to pet and play with him.
