St. Patricks Day

Ollie was looking festive in his green tie. He was "singing" for a treat when I took this picture.

We had our traditional green dinner including green Jello. It was fun to have Andrew join us this time.

It was a beautiful golden sunset that night. Halle and I enjoyed watching it from our front porch.

Ski day

Addy had the day off from school on Monday March 9th. Kev took the girls skiing at Brighton!

It was a nice bluebird day. Kev said the resort wasn't crowded which is a bonus.

Halle hugging the pole.

It was a pretty sunset that night.

The girls had fun doing some 360 turns. Kev spoiled them and bought them dinner at the lodge. I'm happy that they had a fun time together!

Halle's birthday

We celebrated Halle's birthday on Sunday March 1st! Kenna and Bryson both came the night before. Andrew came and joined us for dinner. Kev cooked pork belly, I made mashed potatoes, and we had jalapeno poppers. I made her fruit pizza for her birthday dessert. She opened up some of her presents that day. Her favorite gifts were a new blow dryer and a inflatable tanning bed.

On her birthday we went and got her waffle. It was fun having some time with just her.

We made a stop at Bath and Body so she could get her free birthday gift. We found the best new scent called Waikiki.
We went and got balloons for her. She chose out this fun palm tree one.

That night we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Andrew and Parker came with us. They even had Halle ride the saddle and brought her out some ice cream. Halle has had an exciting year. Some of the highlights have been going to Hawaii, passing her EMT test, and buying her first car. We are grateful for the love and kindness she brings to our family. We love you Halle!

February Highlights

I took this picture of Kev and Hayden. It's crazy that Hayden is almost as tall as Kev now! He has grown a lot in the last year.

I made this heart puzzle with all the kids names in my Sunbeam class. We had fun putting it together for our primary lesson. I love these cute kids that I get to teach!

We went to lunch with Dad and Loni on February 17th. It was nice that the kids had a day off from school. We are grateful for their unconditional love and support for our family!

Kev and I went snowmobiling on February 21st! We parked at Tibble Fork and then drove up to find some untouched powder. We rode over to the Midway lookout. It was a fun adventure together!

Hayden had an appointment on February 26th. We went and got breakfast afterwards at Penny Anns Cafe. Hayden had never been before and he enjoyed it. We had a fun time hanging out together. I love Hayden!

My friend Brekke had her annual Galentine's party on February 28th. This time she had us wear outfits that we don't normally get to wear. It was fun to see how everyone dressed up. We had delicious food as always and we made bookmarks.  I enjoy hanging out with these awesome friends!

Valentine's Day

It was nice that Valentines Day was on a  Saturday this year. Addy dressed up in red and went to her friends for a Galentine's party.

She put her red heart sunglasses on Ollie. He looked adorable in them. We love our puppy!

Earlier that week, our neighbor Brandi did her nails. They turned out festive and cute. It was really sweet of her to do this for Addy!
Kev gave me these flowers and I gave him chocolate covered strawberries.

We went to dinner at a restaurant called North Italia. It was our first time eating there and I enjoyed it!
We tried the garlic bread with truffle cream sauce for an appetizer.

I ordered tortelloni for my main and Kev got chicken parmigiana. It brought back memories of our trip to Italy.
We went to Pinkbox to get some donuts for the kids. They had so many flavors it was hard to choose. We picked out a dozen to bring home. The kids thought the poop emoji donuts were fun. Our favorite kind was a croissant one with Nutella in it. Parker came by later that night and he and Hayden went to dinner at JCW's. We ended the night hanging out in our hot tub.

Superbowl Sunday

We watched the Superbowl on Sunday February 8th. It was not a very entertaining game. We did enjoy watching the commercials though.

Our neighbors the Clegg family had invited us over once and we had Bariza tacos. Kev got the recipe and we decided to try making them.

We also tried making Dan's queso recipe. He is from Texas and makes the best queso.

Andrew came over to eat with us and watch some of the game.

We all enjoyed the food together!

It was good to have Parker home with us. Ollie enjoyed all the attention he gave him!

Ski trip

We drove up to Logan to stay with Kenna and Bryson. We went that night to get some Aggie ice cream.

It was the first time that all 8 of us have stayed at their place. They made us their yummy breakfast Mcgriddles.
We went skiing the next day at Beaver Mountain. The new lodge is done and it is nice.

It has been an unusual winter with hardly any snow. The resort conditions were better than I thought they would be.
The nice thing was that it wasn't crowded. Especially, since it was a Saturday.

We had fun skiing together all day. I love this picture of Bryson carrying Addy around.

Halle loved spending this time with Kenna. They are the cutest sisters!

I was happy that we had this time together as a family! We went and got some pizza afterwards for dinner.
