In the afternoon we went up to my Dads to spend the rest of the day. We opened more presents. It is amazing how many presents our kids get. The Grandparents really like to spoil them. Grandma Loni prepared a delicious Christmas feast. There was food all day long. We took the kids out sledding. It had snowed a lot the night before. It was great to have a white Christmas this year.

We were all excited to see that Santa came. It is funny because I think I was more excited then the kids when I saw what Santa brought me. I must have been reallly good this year because Santa gave me a Cannon digital camera. I had been wanting one for so long. Parker got his truck and horsie trailer and Mckenna got her teddy bear making machine. Halle was just happy to play with the wrapping paper. She did open some of her presents. Kev loved his present from Mckenna. She gave him a number one Dad baseball. Mckenna bought presents for the family with her own money she had saved. They had a Santas workshop at school and she chose out the presents herself. We had a fun morning playing with our new gifts and then had a pancake breakfast.

We celebrated Christmas eve with the Foster side of the family. We had dinner and then opened up our presents to eachother. The kids recieved so many presents from their Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles. They had so much fun playing with their cousin Tucker. The highlight of the evening was the wrestling match in piles of wrapping paper. Parker proudly told us that he "squished Tuckers guts". When we got home that evening the kids opened up their Christmas pjamas and put the cookies out for Santa. The kids were so excited for Santa to come. Mckenna told us she was going to listen all night until she heard Santas sleigh bells.

On Sunday we celebrated Parkers third birthday with our family. We had a fun filled evening. Parker was so excited to open up his presents. He had been telling us for months that he wanted a Thomas birthday. His other friends had Thomas trains and that was what he wanted. We asked Parker what he wanted to have for his birthday dinner. He immediatley replied hot dogs and mac n cheese. It was an easy meal and it made him so happy. We love our Parker boy and are so grateful to see his bright smile everyday. He is always telling us how much he loves us and gives us great big hugs!

Snowmobiling anyone?

Last year our Polaris Sport Touring was wrecked and I've been rebuilding it and thought these were cool in-process pics. All I have left to tear out is the steering column and handle bars once the parts get in.

The hood, belly-pan, exhaust, A-arms, steering assembly and everything inbetween was pretty trashed. Crazy what a snowmobile looks like with out a hood, any plastics, and an engine.

I love having a garage!

Halle was captivated by the story and listened intently the entire time!

On Sunday we had a party with the Grant side of the family. We had a great time with Grandparents, Great Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. The party was at Melanie and Trents house this year. It was fun to see their new basement. They finished it this last year. Mckenna loved playing down there and asked if we could get some "carpet in our basement". We informed her that it will not happen for awhile. It was fun to hear what everyone has been up to. Thank you Peter and Ruth for your great book and movie recommendations. It was fun too see all of you!

Winter fun!

On Saturday Kev helped the kids build a snowman in the front yard. The kids love being outside in the snow. Parker is always throwing snow balls at all of us. The snowman turned out really good. Grandma Sue gave the kids a kit that had the eyes, hat, mouth, and scarf in it. Kev told me that when everyone saw them making one they came out and made one too. Our street is now lined with snowmen!

Halle is nine months!

Halle can now pull herself up in her crib! (notice how proud she is)

she loves to climb up and in the furniture

try and catch me Parker!

Halle is now into everything! She is a very curious girl. She likes to climb up, over, and through things. She opens drawers and then empties everything inside. She gets so excited when she accomplishes something new. We love to see her little grin. She now has six teeth. The top four came in all at once. Our favorite thing is that she now likes to wave at us! If you wave she will wave right back. We love having her in her family. We always look forward to every new thing she learns!

Breakfast with Santa!!

On Saturday we went to my Dads ward party. We had a great time. Santa showed up with his Harley. The kids were a little hesitant at first. So we told them we would visit Sant after we had breakfast. The food at breakfast was really good. There were about twenty different varieties of egg casseroles, fruit, and cinnamon rolls. Mckenna was in heaven because they had crafts and activities for the kids. We were enjoying our breakfast when Mckenna comes running to the table with a stocking. I asked her where she got it from and she said "I got it from Santa!" We were all a little suprised when she told us she had gone to visit Santa, asked him for what she wanted, and had her picture taken all by herself. I had a good laugh about it. Mckenna is a very independent girl. I just felt bad that we missed it! Parker and Halle also sat on Santas lap. Halle just stared up at his white beard. Parker was hesitant at first but then had no problem telling Santa that he wanted a horsie trailer for Christmas. It is always fun to see how the kids react to Santa every year!
