We have been having a great summer. We've been busy, but it's been the good kind of busy - filled with things that we want to do. :) The boys have done some day camps - tech camp and robotics camp and have had friends over and been swimming... all the fun summer things.
We have had some gorgeous summer sunsets.
And there has been a LOT of fishing. Reed has recently gotten into fishing, so we're out doing that quite a bit. Grace and Jake were over one night and they got in on the fishing fun too.
Hudson was whipping around on his kayak while all the others fished.
Atlas even got in on the fun. :)
Fourth of July was fun - heres we are waiting on the parade to start...
We were invited to the home of some friends of ours to watch the fireworks. It is such a great spot and this is my favorite picture I got that day.
Reed will often come in my closet and talk to me (which I cherish) while I'm fixing my hair or putting on my makeup. One day he and Atlas came in and I turned around to this. These two... such good buddies.
More fishing...
Reed's biggest catch yet. He was pretty proud of it!
Hudson went to his first sleep away camp. I was a little bit nervous about it, but it was only 4 nights and he ended up doing great and had the best time.
I was so glad to see him on Thursday! He ate some corndogs for lunch and told me all the fun things they did.
Then promptly fell asleep in my bed. :)
My big project of July... my new sofa table! We had someone come hang our TV's on the wall and so I repurposed the TV stand from our room into a sofa table. I love our new sectional, but when you walked into out living room, all you saw was a big 'ol back of a couch. So I painted the black tv stand with Annie Sloan French Linen and antiqued it a little. It turned out even better than I expected and I love it so much. #allthehearteyes
July will be wrapping up soon and we're fitting in our summer road trip right before school starts. Recently it has gotten super hot so we're pretty excited about heading to some cooler weather! Stay tuned!
