Thursday, November 26, 2009 Alright. I know I haven't updated for a few days. You all must be wondering how's life working in Hilton Hotel. Today is my fourth day at work. So far I think managable. I was super tired yesterday. 'Cos I worked at night on Tuesday from 5pm to 1130pm. Then worked in the morning at 7 yesterday. I had barely 4 hours of sleep the previous night. 'Cos I got home at like 12 plus. Slept at like 0135? And had to wake up at 0500hrs. Was kinda late for work yesterday and today. But hey, I reached the hotel exactly at 0700 okay. Its just that I reported to the Manager late. -.- You know, I was posted to the last place I want to be posted to -24th storey of the hotel. It was after that incident that kind of made me fear the 24th storey. Ok, before you imagine anything ghostly, let me tell you it has nothing got to do with paranormal stuff. [Maybe its the supervisor who is paranormal herself. As well as the Manager.] I know I sound evil. But I really don't like them... I will explain more if I have the chance. Anyway. I am going to work on Sunday from 5pm to 3am. ((: Maybe next week one of the days I try doing 7am to 1130pm. [Though now 7am to 5pm is already a chore.. That's because of the two heads who made me sick and tired of my job..=x] The thought of them really make my blood boil.. Oh well, got a few quite cute guys working with me. HAHA. I should ask the what timings they book for work. then I can book with them. Maybe got chance work with them. HAHA. Okok, I was just joking. ((: Please pray that I don't get 24th storey again.................... God, please don't let me go there again~!! I stayed on because I don't wanna give up. I wanna complete my job. I wondered how many times I have sneezed today.. Besides being really ill, maybe there are people missing me as well. Haha. I think I've used the computer for the whole day already? Ok maybe not. Half a day? Oh well.. (: Lets see. My voice is somewhat back.. I think? But I have new illness. I'm having a little bit of cold and cough. Haven't been ill for a long long time! ): The last time I lost my voice was 2 years ago during GB-BB Combined Camp. Crap. I even planned to go steamboat with friends after the camp. Who knows that I would lose my voice and I had to cancel the gathering on the last day of camp. -.- I slept abit in the afternoon after coming back from church. I have to sleep early tonight. I have to wake up as early as 5 in the morning tmr. Starting work tmr at 7am. OMG. Its like. Wahh.... Hui Yi, why don't wanna choose afternoon?!!! Bleah!~ Anyway, please pray that I will be ok tmr!! God, I ask for healing!! Ok, people, I just remembered that I haven't done some stuff -Bathe. =x I'm going off to bathe now. I'm back with an update. :D Had been coming home late these days. So didn't really have time to update about RED Camp. Here I am now, updating about my RED Camp. (: Firstly, I must say that it had been one of the best camps I've been to. (: I had lots of fun. So much fun that I lost my voice during the last day of camp. Though it was not a stay over camp, it was still awesome. :D I made friends with the Student Leaders instead of the campers. [I was supposed to mingle with the campers though. =x] Anyway, I took more than 400 photos during RED Camp. :D Ok, on the very first day of RED Camp, 17th Nov 2009, I met Grace and Shinas first before heading to Ngee Ann Poly for the camp. We were in the APACHES tribe so we had to wear red to signify that we are from that tribe. There are 4 other tribes, namely, VIKINGS, SPARTANS, NINJAS, CENTURIONS. They all have different colours to be signified as. They have their own mascots as well. :D Ok, so what happen was, we went to Ngee Ann Poly and saw the SLs waiting for the campers at the Convention Centre. It was quite heartwarming. :D We were introduced to our SLs and most importantly, we learnt our APACHE cheers. :D The cheers which enabled us to win the title, "Tribe with best cheers" and not forgetting "The Best Tribe" title. (: First days are always the more boring ones. That's because we did not know many peiople there. In fact, we did not know anyone. It was a little difficult for us to mingle around. But well, we had the best SLs. :D We had good food as well. :D You know, I almost lost my phone during the camp? It all started when we were all on a shuttle bus on the way to the Adventure Park of Ngee Ann from the campus which was located across the expressway opposite the school. I don't remember taking out my phone in the bus? Oh well, anyway, I had to leave early so I didn't managed to have a glimpse of how The Loft looks like. Oh well. One of the teachers sent me back to one of the canteens in the campus to take the buggy to the main gate. We went back via the overhead bridge which linked the campus and the park together. Another teacher came to pick me up in a buggy. It was so embarrassing! But I was very honoured. Haha. Not everyone gets a chance to sit on a buggy. Heh. So anyway, I only realised that my phone was missing when I was on bus 74. -.- Thank God I brought my spare phone. I used it to call Grace 'cos I could only rememeber her number. HAHA. And thank God someone nice returned the phone. Then I got it back the next day. I almost paused the operation of my phone. =x I went to meet Hui Yi and Xin Hui for our banquet training at Outram. We took a lot of time to manage our hair and stuff. I had fun at the training though. Haha. (: I got home pretty late that night. The training ended at like 9plus? Went for supper at 85 market. Then I got home like 11 plus? (: The next day, met Grace and Shinas again for Red Camp day2. :D Took the shuttle bus from Tampines. Day 2 was fantastic. We had this programme called Path of Discovery. It was to bring us about the different schools and know about the different courses. We went to School of Engineering on the very frst day. We went to School of Life Sciences, School of Film & Media, and School of Humanities. Done many things. Had lunch after some games and cheers sessions. We had BREEKS for lunch. :D And Asian Cuisine for dinner. Sounds good? It is good. Haha. So anyway, after that we went back to the Convention Centre for some celebrities appearance. The cast from First Class, Polo Boys and host for AYG, S Factor, etc came down to NP. And a loyal duet, Ray&Jack, came down as well. So, many girls were like going gaga over the celebs. =x The duet came after dinner? I can't remember. Anyway, we had Mass Dance in the evening after that. Everything ended at like 9plus. I got home at 10.10pm, and left the house again to meet Miao Jun at Paya Lebar to pass her the uniform cover. Then headed back to Bedok to meet Iris and pass her her bag. I went back to Simei and pass my friend money. I took the last bus 5 home. I got home at 12 plus. I bathed and slept at 2 plus I think. Day 3 was the last day of camp. We went to School of Business & Accountancy as well as School of Info-Technology. And my friends were looking sian-ed already. 'Cos of the new group members, all girls except 2 boys, what happen was, they were in their own worlds and stuff. Super quiet. No reaction one. Oh well, not that we are blaming their or something. Just that seeing my friends with that kinda looks on their faces make me feel damn irritated as well. After that was lunch, then it was raining so heavily that some parts of NP were flooded. Including the place where we had lunch at. We went to one of the Lecture Theatres there. It was an old LT in NP. Still have OHP. Haha. Anyway, we had cheers there. It was very fun. :D Went back to the Convention Centre for Mass Dance, Record Breaking and Singapore Idol contestants' appearances. Yes, Singapore Idol Top 4 contestants went to NP. Haha. Ok, yah yah, Aini and Shinas and of course all other girls went gaga over them. They chiong-ed to get the best seats infront of the stage. Before the appearance SI contestants, the people from Singapore Book of Records came down to NP. We were to break two Singapore Records. First was the record of having the most number of people doing the Hokey Pokey together for 5 minutes continuously. The second one was having the most number of people eating lollipops at the same time in 3 minutes. Of course, we broke both the records. Haha. (: The SI contestants came out and yada yada. I have nothing to talk about regarding SI since I don't watch it. Oh well. After that was Mass Dance and cheer-off between the tribes as well as the ally tribes. Then dinner. Dinner was Yoshinoya.(: It was the only time we could use to take photos. So I grabbed the opportunity to take many photos wth the SLs. :D I took picture with SLs who look like Shu Wen, Jeremy Hee, Ban Bee, Cheston and sopme whom I just can't figure out who they resemble. Oh well, they really look alike. And I saw Julia and Qian Ning!!! :DD I haven't seen them for a long time. Didn't manage to take a photo with Qian Ning though. Hmm. And I realised another Pamela in the SLs. Hahaha. Anyway, after that we had 'clubbing'. The Zouk people came and turned the hall into a clubbling place. Haha. It was fun. Jumping about, seeing people dance. And I realised looks are really deceiving. Some look like geeks [oops] yet they can really dance. OMG. I really can't underestimate them. Everything ended at around 10 plus. And after that, APACHES had its last tribe photo, as well as saying the cheers again for the last time. SAD right. Well. All good things always come to an end. "Don't cry because its over but smile because it happened." :D Anyway, I got home at 12 plus and started uploading photos. I am very efficient ok. I slept at 2.50am despite having to wake up early the next day and report in school for GB camp day2. I reported at 8 in school. Thinking that I would be learnng DS3. But I ended up wasting 3 hours waiting and waiting when I could have gone home to take my camera. AHHHHH. Ok, I forgot to bring it ok. ): Oh well... After lunch, set off to Sentosa for outing. I was quite surprised when I saw the new Sentosa. Almost couldn't recognise it. Oh well.... I haven't been there for ages. =x Had ParaJump and then went to Palawan Beach to play some games before heading to Tanjong Beach for dinner. After dinner, headed to Imbiah for Night Walk. Okay, it was really dark. But it was fun. :D We went back to school at around 9 plus? I decided not to stay over as I was coughing rather badly so I don't think I should stay and spread germs. Haha. So I came home. I was so tired. I went back to school this morning, This time I brought my camera. Hohoh. Hmm... I came home and slept all the way till 5 plus. I was woken up by a number of calls whenI tried to sleep. But I still managed to sleep a little. You know. I think my cough is getting worst. =x It's okay. I have to wake up very very very early tmr 'cos I am meeting Shinas downstairs at 6.25am and Grace at Tampines at 6.50am. =x We are going to Ngee Ann Poly! :D We are going for Red Camp 6. :D I'm looking forward to it! Heh. Ok, back to the topic. I have to leave Red Camp earlier as I've got my banquet training at TCC HR, which is at Outram, tmr at 5pm. And yes, for your info, working at a banquet is NOT by any case the Banquet food court you're talking about. -.- Since when do the Banquet food courts have waitresses? -.- RAH. I am going to work as a waitress in the restaurant of a hotel, which I don't know which one I am posted to yet. Anyway, after that, headed to IKEA to meet Daryl B. Ok, in the end I didn't buy anything. I've got no money. I need to get boxes like seriously. Okok, I should just wait till I have money. I don't wanna ask from my parents already. Every little thing I get scolding. -.- I use the computer when I came back late, until 2plus in the morning, I get scolding. I talk on the phone I get scolding. And the worst thing is, I have free-incoming calls. -.- My bill explode due to over-usage of SMS-es, I get scolding, even if I have used my own money to pay for it. They just said, "Your money also from our pockets one....." My bag spoil also I didn't ask them for money to buy it. 'Cos they have already paid so much for my tuition fees. When seriosuly, Math tuition could have been omitted. I seriously don't know what I really have learnt from that tuition centre. Its so expensive yet I don't think I have really benifitted from it. And it just seemed like I haven't asked my parents for money for a very long time already. They gave me on their own accord. -.- Nvm nvm. I will earn back all my "lost" money. I will all the things I NEED myself. I have no allowance to think of the things I WANT. I didn't even say I wanna go shopping. I need clothes. But I have no allowance to spend money on clothes. After service, went to have lunch at the food court at Expo. Had the most expensive Nasi Lemak in my entire life. I will never eat that Nasi Lemak again. ): It cost me $5.50 leh... As I ate that rice, my heart bleeding sia.... ): AHH. Anyway, went home with Yi Chun and Miao Jun after that. Miao Jun wanted to come over to my place. (: Supposed to meet Mdm Rogayah and Yuan Ru today. But Mdm Rogayah had something on last minute. So I went to meet Yuan Ru alone instead. Hah. We literally went City Hall and walked aimlessly. =x I seriously think I'm gona put on weight if I continue eating and eating. I should stop. I don't wanna waste my whole year's efforts of losing 17 kilos since January. I will kill myself if I do so in the next few months. Heh. Gotta meet Mdm Rogayah soon. So I can pass her the gifts Yuan Ru had bought and asked me to pass to her as she will be flying off early in the morning tmr. Hope she have a safe trip. (: I came back at about 8 plus 'cos Yuan Ru was going to meet her tutor cum friend at Bugis. So I came home. Am going to IKEA tmr with Daryl B. I'm sooo looking forward to it! Don't know why I'm so tired these days. Like tired from everything else. Oh well. Anyway. Met Tian En and Hui Yi at Tampines this afternoon. :D We went for movie and then for dinner. We watched Paranormal Activity at GV Tampines. Ok, it wasn't supposed to be funny but I don't know why the people in the cinema were laughing. Especially Tian En. -.- Haiyoh. Someone still said that he would be afraid to watch horror movies. Okay, anyway, for the first time in my life, I didn't freak out when I was watching a horror movie. Heh. ((: So, after the movie, we went to Tampines 1 to shop abit. And then went to have dinner at KimGary Seafood Restaurant[?] We stayed there to chat for more than an hour. I told Tian En about the people I know from Tagged and stuff. Hmm. I enjoyed myself today. :D Talking to Tian En has enabled me make a decision on something. (: At least I have a direction already. We stoned for like two hours before we start looking out for jobs. -.- Anyway, we went around. We went to town and stuff. Filled in Application Forms for Precious Thots. But I doubt they will call. :X Well well. Anyway, went Outram with Hui Yi yesterday for a walk-in interview as a waitress for banquets. I believe it's gonna be fun. :D Hmm. Am going back to school for my final paper later. Like finally???? Hoho. Super boring eh. I don't know why but you know, for the past few days when I headed out for job hunting, a little bit of shopping and stuff, I realised I haven't gone out for a long time and I felt that all those places became like strangers to me. Even Paya Lebar seemed stranger to me. Though I used to go there every week. =x Tampines Mall seemed alien to me as well. Funny right? I used to go there every week for tuition but rarely gone to the mall to shop. I only liked going Popular to shop for PENS. Yes, PENS. If I'm given the opportunity to work in Popular, I will be so happy. :D I just love testing pens, buying pens. Weird right? Hehe. Oh yea, I went to church last Sunday. :D Fantastic sermon. Though I slept at 4am that morning, for the first time, I managed to stay awake for the whole sermon! Thank God! :DD I really enjoy the presence of the people at church. :D Saw M'am Jasmine! Its been a very very very long time since I last saw her. Super happy. (: After serivce, went for lunch with friends at the food court located at Expo. (: Then headed home after accompanying Miao to get our Double Choc. :D Yi Chun came of=ver to my place first then I went to her place to slack a bit. I ended up sleeping a bit at her place. Heh. We met at Tampines, headed to City Hall, hunted the whole of City Hall [Raffles City, City Link, Marina Square, Suntec City.] Tried a few, majority were misleading. Why? They have notices on their doors saying that they are hiring but when we went to check them out, they told us that there were no vacancies. -.- Can't they just freaking remove the notices after they had hired people? RAH. Anyway, I'm going down to job hunt again later. Hoho. Gotta wake Wan Jing up. Ahhh. I feel damn bad. Supposed to morning call Jasper again at 6 after the first one at 5.30am. I overslept. (: But unfortunately, I realised I didn't read the last question of Paper2 properly. -.- And a two-hour paper was finished within 1-hour for many of us. The Trading, Profit and Loss was crap. It was the easiest question I've ever done in my whole life. RAH. That one confirm 20 marks for me. Hehe. xD Ok, anyway, after the paper, went to have lunch with Grace at Bedok. I went home and tried to nap since I slept super late the previous night. I slept at 3 lor. However, I was unable to fall asleep. =/ It's ok. I still managed to sleep a little. (: In the evening, someone asked me to go down to AMK. Ok lor. I left the house at 7.30pm and reached there at 8.30pm. I realised bus 22 is very much faster than bus 25. I took bus 25 to AMK, I was freezing cold in the bus luh and it took about an hour. Oh well. Anyway, I took 22 back, it took me only about 35 minutes to reach home? I got home at 10 plus. I think? Went singing at Teo Heng with friends yesterday. It is located at Katong Shopping Centre. It's very new!! Alot better then the one at Kampong Chai Chee CC. =x It's kinda cheap also. Ask me where ask me where! :D Hah. Okay, anyway, went to meet another friend at Bedok after that. I don't know why. I accompanied him take 87 from Bedok. I alighted at Hougang and took 87 back to Bedok. =x So lame right. Lazy get down the bus luh. Heh. Ok lah. I'll be back later. Yes, killer of O-levels. My worst subjects. Combined Humanities and Combined Sciences. =x Thank God, both of them is down. Well, I still have Science MCQ next week. I don't understand why give us a 6-day break before our last paper. Why cannot just put it like on Friday morning??!! RAH. Anyway. after tmr's POA, I'm going to play. :D Wait, I have to pack my house first. In a great great mess. =x And I'm going to look for a job. I am so going to save up for a bag. All my bags are in pathetic conditions. Bleah. Lets seeee... One day, I was supposed to give Jasper a morning call. And guess what? You know, he told me to wake him up at 0530. So, I started calling at 0530. All the way until 0640. How many missed calls do you think I had given him?? It's 97 okay. OMG. For the first time in my whole life did I give someone so many missed calls. =x And, adding 3 messages. So totalled up to be 100. Nice. My best morning call record. =x Anyway. Can't believe it's over. I meant, POA exam is not over yet. It's tmr. And it's gonna end just like that. So fast??? Oh well.. All good things always come to an end. Oh yes. I don't if I've said this. But, I deleted and recreated Tagged. Dumb. I don't even know why I went to recreate it. Why in the first place did I delete it? Well, it was due to some stuff which I don't wish to disclose. (: Not important already. I just recreated it for fun. I'm still going to delete it soon. I mean I'm serious. It sounds dumb. But I feel pointless lah. To maintain an account like Tagged. Yea yea.
