The Garlock Family

Yet another fabulous week with family at Bass Lake! We LOVE being with cousins, making dinners, riding in the boat, wake boarding, tubing, ice cream at Miller's, games at night, movies for the kids, basking in the sun for hours and swimming in the lake. Its a week we treasure and look forward to year round. Special thanks as always to Grandpa and Grandpa Garlock for making it happen!

In July, prior to our annual week at Bass Lake with the extended Garlocks we took the kids camping in Yosemite. I have to admit I was not looking forward to this adventure that Brian had planned. Every detail of our trip was carefully researched and scheduled from our first stop for breakfast in Bakersfield at a local hot spot called 24th Street to taking a dip in Mirror Lake before we bid our farewells to the state park. Honestly, it was one of the best vacations we've ever had! It blew my expectations away as far as how much fun we could have out there in nature which let's not kid, is not my forte! We made so many memories and are so looking forward to making it a tradition each year and I owe it all to Brian for not listening to me and arranging an amazing trip!
