It has been exciting start to a new school year! Emma is in Kindergarten and she absolutely loves every moment of it! She is very excited to be going to an elementary school where mommy did her student teaching and where her uncle Mike went to school.

 She loves riding the school bus!!!

 Emma has started piano lessons with her Nana! She is learning so much and is so excited to go each week.

 We spent some pool time at Auntie Alicia's house before she had her baby boy. Emma is in LOVE with her dog Rex and often asks if she can have a dog just like him. ;)

We have really enjoyed being able to play with cousins here in The Woodlands. Emma and t'Barrett are best buddies!!! 

 Emma lost her first tooth a few weeks ago. This was sooo exciting! She was a little afraid of the tooth fairy coming. We had to put the tooth in her little pillow and then out it far away from her on the night stand. She said she was afraid the tooth fairy would touch her. ha!

 We had a go green to school day last week. So we headed to school on our bikes. It was really fun! Will have to do it again soon.

  This past weekend I took Emma on a special trip to San Antonio. Secretly, I wanted to go just as badly as she did to see my sweet friends!!!

 The gang has missed each other... just missing RP.

 We met our friends to go to see the USA Gymnastics Team Tour of Champions. It was really a great show and so much fun. We all had a great time!

Poor RP has been left out in most pictures. He is a wild boy climbing on everything! There is not a moment that he is not into something or causing some kind of trouble. hehe He is a typical boy but such a sweet heart.

I have completely neglected my blog. Seems I can't find the time to update it. So hopefully I can play catch up and be better about updating. 

I am just going to put a general post of summer time pics. That will help get caught up quickly...I hope! 

 We hung out with friends in Corpus for 4th of July. Ryan was already working in The Woodlands so the kids and I enjoyed time with friends. RyanPaul loved the fireworks!

We had a an incredible night with friends in early August. We spent a night at the Omni and then had a 5 course (SUPER FANCY) dinner at Hurricane Alley. Then we hit the rides after dinner. It was adults only and we had the park to ourselves. It was the best night. One I will never forget. We have made the most AMAZING friends in Corpus and it has been hard to say goodbye.

Emma attending Cheer Camp at our church in The Woodlands. She loved every second of it and it was fun to see some of my old students as teachers. 

 We also had a fun weekend of camping in Port Aransas.

 We have enjoyed being back in The Woodlands. We have taken many bike rides and Emma loves going to see all the ducks.

We also celebrated Ryan's 34th birthday!

 In July we were so excited to be able to attend my cousin Eliza's wedding. She was such a beautiful bride and I loved being with my Larkin family for the weekend! We sure missed my Uncle Tim, as we always do.

 The kids had a ball playing together. We even caught them playing wedding after the ceremony! K is such a ladies man!

 Emma fell in love with my Uncle Bob... of course I knew she would.

 We went to Lincoln Park Zoo while we were in Chicago for the wedding weekend. It was so much fun. I love this shot I got of Papa and RyanPaul.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend in The Woodlands with family. RyanPaul was not feeling well all weekend but he managed to do ok. Emma absolutely loved playing with all her cousins! I even hauled a moonwalk and cotton candy machine to add to the celebration!

 As always we had a blast at the annual Barrett Family crawfish boil! My dad out did himself with 7 boils and we ate it all up! So yummy!

 Ryan was able to fly in for the day on Saturday! Our Emma Lu's rentals kept him busy the rest of the weekend. We were happy to have him and happy that he made some cotton candy!

 Even though the water was FREEZING, Emma spent most of her day either in the moonwalk or in the pool.
