So last week I was driving the kids to school and Allison started to share how she learned that all humans are mammals. So this is how the conversation went, even though the facials is what made it even more funny:
Allison: Mom did you know that we are mammals?
Me: Yes, that is awesome you are learning about that.
Anthony: What? (totally confused)
Allison: We are mammals
Anthony: No I'm not
Allison: Yes you are
Anthony: NNNNOOO I'm not
Allison: Anthony a mammal is someone that feeds their baby with milk
Anthony: Oh I am definitely not a mammal
So at this point I was about to pee my pants listening to the conversation trying to think about what Anthony was thinking the definition of a mammal was in his head, cause what ever it was he didn't want to have anything to do with it.

Help needed Please!!!!
Well this is our sweet 5 year old Anthony who has a love for candy and money. So a lot of days when I am cleaning around the house I will find all his secret places where he has decided to try and hide his new stash of loot, meaning like if he gets any candy he is like a chipmunk who tries to store it for the winter so if he has any down time he can go eat some of his stash. Well here and there he has gotten things out of the cupboard with out asking like at Christmas we had so much candy around there was no way to hide it all from him so I was really naive thinking my son's fetish was not a serious problem until today when....... He asked me to help him count some money he had and it was like $3.50 in quarters, so he was telling me how he wanted to save a dollar to buy Alexis a birthday present for her birthday on Monday and then he wanted to buy a treat at Walmart when he went with me. Well the plot thickens when we just went yesterday and put all his money in his bank account, so I asked him where he got it and he answered "I don't know" so I figured it was one of his secret stashes I didn't know about. So then we go to Walmart and are at the check out and I saw him looking at all the candy and stuff there so I reminded him to not even think about taking anything and putting it in his pockets. So we are driving home and with no shame he is just opening two packages of Dr. Pepper chap sticks that he must of just slipped in his hoodie. So after I sent him to his room so I could cool off for a while I discovered the money he mysteriously had was stolen from his own Dad's drawer. So this is where the help comes in. What do I do or say to a five year old to help him stop this horrible habit before it's too late? Because I have not been able to stop crying all after noon. Has anyone had to deal with stealing at such a young age? Any advice will be appreciated. Posted by Rachelle at 10:48:00 PM 1 comments

Growing Fast
Here is Austin's new 6 months portraits from Kiddie Kandids. I think he likes his picture to be taken because he was so good and just kept smiling. As a Mother I always dread picture time because you hope they will actually smile and not just cry the whole time and then spend a lot of money for not that good of pictures. But with Austin I really like to do it now because he makes it so easy. Now I just wish Richfield had a portrait studio.

Halloween Fun
We had a really fun, crazy busy Halloween week. It was like Halloween day lasted the whole week. Let's just say I am so glad it is over. Anthony dressed up as Wolverine, Austin was a Winnie the Pooh Flower...

Family
How does a Mother know when she is done having children? I have been thinking about this a lot. I was waiting after I just had Austin to get that over-whelming feeling that I have heard people describe that you just know when you are done, and I still haven't gotten that feeling and Austin is 5 months old. So I have been wondering what that means? Does it mean our family still has a child waiting to come? or does it mean that maybe in a while I will still get that feeling. Cause some days when I am overwhelmed with the four amazing kids I already have I feel how could I juggle more? but then when I think "what if this were my last" I get really sad and can't give away any of my baby stuff hoping there will be another girl. I don't know maybe your comments can help shed some light on this confusing topic for me. Don't be shy, share how you knew you were done if you are done. Thanks for the help. So here are some pics that make me so grateful for my children and want more at the same time...
