I thought I would take advantage of the time we are stuck inside to not only take pictures of how beautiful it is outside, but also to blog and share them with you. I absolutely LOVE the way our house looks covered in snow and icicles. So pretty. I'm standing at the very end of our driveway taking this picture and as you can see, the snow is piled almost as high as me. We still have a lot to shovel so I'm not sure where it's going, and I used to like shoveling snow until I had to start hoisting it over my head.

I have failed at blogging big time. I have found Facebook recently once again due to a BFF of mine from high school dying of a heroin overdose New Year's Eve. Heroin has snuffed out three people I have been very close with in the last five years, and I have a sickening distaste for the drug. Even though my political beliefs are somewhere in the middle, and I may not disagree with the death penalty completely, I would LOVE to see all heroin and meth manufacturers receive the death penalty for making the drug. Nothing they do results in anything but the death of someone else.

Hopefully someday I will feel like blogging once again and sharing the pics and my life with you.
