Update!!!

HELLO! We are alive just in case you wondering! Alright lets do some catching up... First and foremost Jimmy is done with school! He finished at the end of August and is now working as a respiratory therapist at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray. It's been so nice having a husband again. :)

The girls are doing great. They're growing like weeds like usual. I'm doing great as well.

Well, enough with the talk now you can look at pictures to see whats been happening in our lives.

At the fair!

I went to Bear Lake with my great friend Kylynne and Lily and her son Treyson fell asleep. I thought it was pretty cute.

Practicing wearing heels.....she walks better in heels than me!

Mae started taking ballet. She loves it so much.
PLaying outside at Grandma's

This was while we were on our trip to Bear Lake. We had them done at the fair there.

I think grandpa got a little tired. :)

Jimmy's grandpa (who I consider my grandpa!) came from California to visit. We are at the musical, South Pacific, in this picture. It was an amazing show and great company!

June 19, 2011

Well, I'd like to say we had a fun weekend but I think it was pretty much as far from fun as you can get. Nothing like starting out your weekend with horrible pain, emergency surgery, and then waking up from surgery to find out you have to have another one. Yep, that's how my weekend went. And the lucky person who got to go through all of this...me. Aren't I so lucky. Friday evening Jimmy and I were driving home from visiting his dad in Mantua when my back started hurting pretty bad. By the time we got out of the canyon I knew something was wrong and told him to take me to the E.R. Come to find out my gallbladder hates me and decided to stop working how its supposed to. So they did surgery and took it out. But it turns out that some gall stones escaped the gall bladder and got stuck in the duct that empties bile into your small intestines. (gross I know) So they have to do another surgery to get that fixed. But I'm doing pretty good now. Except I'm on the worst and best possible diet over. The worst because you can't eat anything!! But that also makes it the best. :) Maybe I can shed a few more pounds.

Anyway on a lighter note. Last weekend was a blast. We did a tribute show for my singing teacher Janet Carter. It was so much fun. She is such an amazing lady and has done so much for the Garland community and for me! I love her so much and she deserved this tribute.
I also got to ride in the Tour de Cure. I did the 25 mile ride. It usually takes me about 2 hours to ride it but I finished it in 1 hour and 40 min. I was pretty proud of myself. It is so much fun. Although it would be a lot funner if I had someone riding with me. So come and ride with me please! Well, thats it for now. I'll post pictures soon.

BBQ

The apartments that we live in threw a BBQ on the 1st. I was surprised at how fun it was. They has a big jumping thing for the kids, a clown doing some pretty neat balloon animals, and a lady painting faces! They even had a DJ. The girls had so much fun. Lily would run on to the dance floor and start doing a little twist move. It was so cute. Mae and Lily got their faces painted and loved it so much they wouldn't let me wash it off till the next day. Mae especially loved hers. She told the lady she wanted to be a tiger. haha She would walk around and roar really loud. we had a great time, ate good food, met a lot of new people, and even won a $50 dollar gift card to Maddox! Here are some pictures of the girls and their painted faces.

Little Miss Hollywood :) She loves her Hannah Montana sunglasses. haha

Our Happenings :)

Well I don't know about you guys but I feel like I should be building a boat and finding two of every animal! I try really hard not to complain about the weather and I usually love the rain! But I just need some sunshine so so bad! Every chance we have gotten the girls and I have been outside. They have had so much fun being able to play in our back yard. They love the grass and so do I! I was so happy when they finally laid the sod in our yard.... Now if it wasn't so soggy it would be even better! There isn't anything new going on with us. Just trucking along. Jimmy is almost done with school. He'll be done in August and will take his boards in Sept.! It will be so nice to be able to see him more....Well, hopefully. He'll get done right when hunting season starts so who knows how much I'll see him. :)
Mae is still a growing. She is definitely taking after Jimmy in her height. She is learning so much. She is very into trains right now. She still loves to swing and always wants to go higher. (freaks me out how high she goes sometimes) Her surgery went very well, and her eyes are doing great! They look wonderful.
Lily is getting so big too. Her hair is getting so long. I think her hair is as long as Mae's was when Mae was 2! She loves to talk. I have been able to pick some words out. She says thanks, bye, don't (when Mae is bothering her haha), I love you, and she copies what you say all the time. She loves taking baths and eats about anything in her path...literally. The girl puts everything in her mouth! Her favorite food is bananas and peanut butter. She has quite the attitude too! ...must get that from Jimmy :)

I'm doing pretty good. One of my best friends moved to Kansas a couple weeks ago. :( We had a little get together before she left. These are some of my closest friends in the world and I love them to pieces. Its was so fun to have all our kiddos together too. A lot can change in a few years! :)
