Mr. Preston turned ONE (almost 2 months ago)
Our little Preston turned ONE on the 10th of June. I can hardly believe a whole year has gone by with him in our little family. He is such a delight and a happy kid! We are so blessed!
For his birthday I did a theme of Dr. Seuss. I am a nerd like that and when I have a party there has to be some sort of a theme. All the foods coordinate with Dr. Seuss type titles. It was a lot of fun thinking of them! I had a lot of help from the internet.
Note to self: chocolate doesn't do well outside.
For Prestons smash cake I did the cat in the hats hat. It was hilarious to watch him dive in and be rather proper with is cake eating skills. Tyler and Carter were much more aggressive with their smash cake than Preston was.
" Mmmmmm, this is pretty good stuff!"
Preston has the best facial expressions!

Trip to the Zoo
So I have decided that Groupon, Livingsocial and all those couponing type companies are AWESOME! We got a years pass to the San Antonio Zoo for pennies compared to what it would normally cost. This past week we went to the zoo and of course we have to do the train ride while there. The boys love, LOVE trains! Tyler was riding in the back with his friends. Preston wasn't so sure about riding on the seat instead of my lap, but he did great and giggled a few times on the ride.

My 28th Birthday!
I think I am to the point in life where birthdays just don't matter. Or maybe I should say that on those days (birthdays) nothing ever seems to go the way you want them to. Preston had more blow-outs in the first 2 hours of the day than he has had his entire year of life. That was so fun! On a brighter side I had lunch out with friends and my hubby took me out to dinner and got me a delicious ice cream cake from DQ. Way to close out a day! Happy 28th to me!

Jamie's Birthday
We surprised Jamie today. I took Tyler out of school and we headed to Jamie's work to pick him up to take him out to lunch. He was surprised. Jamie chose Fire Wok. Good choice! We had a yummy teriaki bowl and the boys had Micki D's.

Preston's Blessing
We blessed Preston Saturday September 11th in our home. It was wonderful blessing him at home. I would highly recommend it to anyone! The spirit in our home was so strong! Jamie was able to take his time, he didn't feel rushed while blessing little Preston. It was a wonderful thing we were able to do with our family and a few friends.

Jamie blessed Preston and gave a beautiful blessing.Tyler is such a wonderful big brother to both Carter and Preston. He is so sweet and gentle with Preston. He will make a wonderful father some day.
The man of the hour! Preston is such a wonderful baby. That is one thing I have been blessed with is good easy babies. I think my pregnancies are rough and hard and then at the end of all that I get these wonderful babies that love to eat and sleep.
My three sons. All so wonderful!
Me and the littlest of my men. I feel so blessed to be a mother to Preston and to my other little guys. I try to do my best with teaching them and loving them, everyday.
