The rehearsal dinner was at Wings-n-more and I didn't get too many pictures at dinner. I was too busy feeding my baby in my belly! He was VERY hungry and he loves loves loves Wings-n-more. Not as much as Kate does but pretty close!

Gotta have a baby bump picture!! Left to right....Ashley (37 weeks), Emily (33.5 weeks), Leslie (28 weeks) and Mandi (12.5 weeks). I kind of have a feeling our baby bump picture group might be down to just three here pretty soon - can't wait to meet Baby Pointer!

Kristi caught the bouquet guess that means she will be getting married soon!! Yay Kristi : )

First dance as husband and wife.

Jacob had a twin at the wedding!!

Wouldn't be a wedding without the Aggie War Hymn - Whoop!!

Or the Cha-Cha Song!

Wyatt getting some love from Erin and Kristi. (Kristi - totally stole this picture from your facebook - thanks! Hope you don't mind.)

Allison and April - they were having a relaxing moment! She is such a sweetie and a beautiful flower girl.

Kate's Bridal Luncheon

Today, my mom and I hosted Kate's bridal luncheon at Le Madeleine on Market Street here in The Woodlands. It was the perfect place to host this very intimate luncheon. The food was delicious and it just all worked out so perfectly. I had a great time and I hope everyone else did also.

This event marks the official beginning to Kate's "Wedding Week"! I am so happy and excited for Kate as she gets ready to marry the man of her dreams and become Kate Norsworthy!!! She is going to be a BEAUTIFUL bride and I can't wait for Saturday Feb. 21 to get here so we can celebrate as they begin their new life together as husband and wife. Awwwwwwwwww!!! Just for the record I am not crying right now but I sure did shed a tear or 500 at the luncheon earlier - happy tears of course but seriously I can't control them!
Time for some pictures -our lovely table.....my mom brought the table clothes, the chargers for the plates, the tea light center pieces, and she made name cards with the most perfect little sayings on them. Very creative - I so wish I had that gene!
The girls......Erin, Kris (Kate's sister), Kate, Emily and Mandi

And I was so just excited about this.................................

You might be asking yourself "What's the big deal? Its just your tahoe parked in a parking spot." But once you look closer at the sign, you will notice this......

This was my first time to park in an "Expectant Mother" parking spot! Woo-hoo!!! Needless to say, we (my mom and myself) were quite excited : ) What can I say......I am easily amused these days!
Norsworthy wedding week has officially started - looking forward to their nuptials in less than one week! Go Kate and Chris!

Adventure Boot Camp Videos

So, y'all remember that I teach an early morning boot camp class, right? And by early morning we are talking 5:15-6:15 am Monday-Friday. Yes, I am crazy! Kate and I work for Adventure Boot Camp and we both started running our own camps in September. Adventure Boot Camp is a 4-week workout session and we meet 5 days a week. I am currently teaching my last class before the baby arrives. I am actually quite proud that I have had the energy to continue teaching camp throughout my pregnancy. Unfortunately, I am not participating as much as I use to but I still try to do the arm weights and leg exercises as much as I can.

Anyway - Kate and I are pretty much movie stars! If you go to the North Houston ABC website.......www.northhoustonbootcamp.com you will find two videos at the bottom of the page. This past summer, before we both started teaching our own camp and we were campers, a local Houston station came out to video a few clips of our morning workouts. You will have to check these out and see what Adventure Boot Camp is all about! This was obviously post-pregnancy and I clearly do not look like this anymore but I will very soon!!!

I love adventure boot camp and if you ever have an opportunity to try out a class, you totally should!

Try to visit these links and watch the videos!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcT_FI5kWXY&eurl=http://www.northhoustonbootcamp.com/video1.html&feature=player_embedded

(this video is actual footage from one of our morning workouts....you can see me doing some amazing push ups on my knees! Kate is next to me while we are working out. You can't really see us warming up - we are all the way down on the end while doing warm ups. But we are front and center during the workout.)

and.....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3an0W4sOCr8&eurl=http://www.northhoustonbootcamp.com/video2.html&feature=player_embedded

(this video was for a segment that Justin Williams (our boss man) did called Fitness Tips or something like that.....I was the lucky personal trainer that got to demonstrate some stretches while Justin talks! - watching this gets me excited about getting back into shape!)

Baby Bump Picture 2-11-09

Here is our latest baby bump picture! This has become quite the ritual and I love it!! I think Leslie loves it also :)

First, Kate suggested that I put my baby belly into Ashley's back and then Leslie put her baby belly into my back. It basically became an "Emily Sandwich", which I was not so comfortable with - kind of felt weird rubbing my belly on Ashley's back and then having Leslie's belly rubbing on my back!

Then we took a normal picture......so updated dates: Leslie (almost 27 weeks). Emily (32 weeks) and Ashley (35.5 weeks).

We are going to have the best play group ever! We were missing Mandi tonight because she sadly came down with the flu - I think she is 11 weeks along this week.

Love my baby mama friends!!

Jacob's Diaper Shoot

As most of you know, my husband is a fireman. So the guys at the station like to host what they call "diaper shoots" for the guys when they are expecting little additions to their families. This past Saturday, the guys on Jacob's shift hosted his diaper shoot up in Willis at one of the guy's properties. So, you might be wondering what exactly is a diaper shoot? Well, basically the guys all get together and shoot skeet, BBQ, drink beer..........and my favorite part, they all bring diapers or wipes for the honoree! Jacob was really excited to have this hosted for him and from the sounds of it, they had a great time. I think there were over 20 guys that attended and they shot skeet all afternoon.

I came home last night from Lance and Trudi's shower to find Jacob already in bed (he had to work today so early morning ahead). I asked him how the diaper shoot went and he told me it was fun and about 20 or so guys came and a few of them brought diapers. I was like "what? they all should have brought diapers!" Isn't that the point of the diaper shoot....he was like well a few guys brought diapers and then he told me he had unloaded everything into the nursery. So, I walk into the nursery to see what I thought was going to be just a few packages of diapers (based on what he said) and this is what I see..................

Needless to say I was very excited to see the "loot" of diapers and wipes! We also received some baby toiletries and some changing pads and little diaper trash bags. We are stocked! Not sure how long this supply will last but I was a happy mom-to-be last night. The guys did such a good job and brought diapers off all sizes. (I kind of arranged the diapers into piles by sizes - oops!)
We also received this cute little outfit....

I can't wait to dress Wyatt up in cute little outfits supporting his daddy! Here are a few that I have already found.....

Let's just hope Wyatt looks good in navy and red!!! He is going to love his daddy so much and I know that Jacob is going to love teaching Wyatt all about his job and how to serve his community and people to the best of his ability.
Yea for "diaper shoots"!!!

Lance & Trudi's Coaches Shower

Saturday night (2-7-09), two extremely gracious football families hosted a shower in honor of Lance and Trudi just for the coaches. First of all, the house the shower was hosted at was AMAZING. Words can not even express how amazingly unique this house was - I really wish I could have taken pictures of the house but it was dark and that might have been weird! Absolutely stunning! We all took a tour of the house and I literally thought I was on HGTV.

The food was amazing - they had appetizers sitting out while we all mingled and watch a basketball game in their outdoor cooking area - yes there was a big screen tv mounted on the wall above a fire place in the outdoor area - pool side nonetheless. AMAZING! Anyway, they had jalepeno poppers, chips and salsa, some yummy dip that I don't even know what it was called. The husbands were grilling burgers and they had seasoned french fries. Then for dessert, blue bell ice cream served on freshly baked peach cobbler. I am not a cobbler fan but it looked and smelled outstanding. And the part I was not too fond of was the fact that among other beverages, they had sangria - which is one of my favorites and I was very very sad that I couldn't have any. Oh well - maybe summer '09 I will have some sangria!

I only took a few pictures of the festivities but here is the happy couple - Lance and Trudi :)

I thought this was a cute picture of them opening gifts - yes I know it is dark but I thought it was cute.

Lance saying his "thank yous" to everyone.

So in their "game room" they have this lamp - which I thought was too funny not to take a picture of......

And they also have "Big Buck Hunter" - Kate and Brant just HAD to play. Jacob would have gone nuts - he wants one of these in his man-cave.

And they have a fireman's pole! Lance and some of the other guy coaches of course went down it. The bedrooms are all upstairs above the game room so I guess this is how the boys get downstairs quickly!

And this last picture is of Boston - he is 6 weeks old and the son of a guy that coached at our school the previous 2 years but is teaching and coaching in Magnolia. Boston was the perfect little boy tonight - he did not say ONE word and was just happy happy and smiled at people. Here he is laying in mommy's lap. Being around Boston really got me into super baby mode and made me want to hold my little man!

Let's see......next event Bunco night! Woo-hoo :)

Erin & Billy's Engagement Dinner

Kate and I put together a little engagement dinner for Erin and Billy last night at The Olive Garden - and it was yummy!

The bride and groom-to-be! Kate made little place cards and I made Erin a sash that says "Future Mrs. Parks" - which I was very proud of! Then, we gave her an adorable little "P" that Billy thought stood for Princess! It stands for Parks silly boy!

It wouldn't be a celebration without the infamous cookie cake! Ordering this cookie cake over the phone with a very nice woman who barely spoke English was a very stressful situation. We finally agreed to just leave it blank and then when I picked it up she would then write on the cake what I wanted it to say. Its a very good thing we did this because when I got there I noticed the order form said "Happy Engagement Erin and Emily"!
Part of our entourage.....starting at the bottom left....Brad K., Brad Y., Brittany, Lance, Jeff, Julie, Leslie and Ashley.

Kate (the almost married woman) and Mandi : )

Erin and Baby Charlotte! Charlotte belongs to Ross and Emily - one of Billy's corps buddies. She is adorable!

Bride-to-be and the Ladies :) We took this after a few left - sorry Julie, Trudi, Kristin, Katie and Kristi - I should have been more on my A-game......pregnancy brain strikes again!

Erin being Erin.......this is pretty much a signature pose.

And I had to get a Baby Bump picture and Mandi got to join us this time around! So let's see if I can get this correct.....Mandi (10 weeks), Leslie (26 weeks), Emily (31 weeks) and Ashley (35 weeks)! Love all my baby mama friends :)

Pretty much loving all these celebrations! What's next? That would be a couples shower for Lance and Trudi and then THE NORSWORTHY WEDDING!
Stay tuned for more pictures of the upcoming events.

25 Random Things about My Pregnancy and Wyatt

Here we go!! After seeing a bunch of you doing your 25 random things, I thought "why not?"! So, here we have 25 random things about my baby in my belly and my pregnancy!

1. I found out I was pregnant the day before my 30th birthday. Needless to say, that was a bit of a surprise. We had bunco that night and then went out to Papas on the Lake for my birthday - it was fun trying to act like I was drinking wine!

2. Jacob and I had actually had the conversation that morning (Aug. 6th) about how maybe we should wait for a bit and not "try" right now (prior to me taking the two pregnancy tests!). I was very upset when he said this.

3. I went to the fire station after taking the tests and showed Jacob the "positives". I was so nervous to tell him because we had that talk. He was so incredibly excited and I was crying!!

4. Wyatt Aaron Hoffart is truly a blessing from God!!!

5. No, he was not a honeymoon baby!

6. I really didn't enjoy my pregnancy until late in my second trimester. I thought "why do women like being pregnant? I am really not getting it."

7. I had a huge, HUGE issue with my weight gain and body transformation. Since mid-second trimester that has seemed to go away.

8. I love my baby-belly now :)

9. My favorite time of day is laying in bed at night and watching my belly move around. So far, its the most amazing part of being pregnant.

10. I dream about Wyatt looking like his daddy - but secretly hope he has my eyes and hair color!

11. I am scared to death of what all I will experience with labor and delivery. I know I can do it and that millions, kabillions of women do it all the time - but just the unknown is some what freaking me out.

12. Wyatt sometimes wants, I mean demands, Chic-fil-a for breakfast.....and sometimes lunch. I can't tell him no just yet! What the baby wants the baby gets, right?

13. My son must be resting on my bladder 24-7 because I pee all the time and I feel extreme pressure on my bladder constantly.

14. To date, this pregnancy has been extremely easy! I pray that it continues to be easy and without complications.

15. Walking up stairs makes me feel extremely out of shape - sometimes I have to rest half way up! Then I can't talk for a few minutes because I am huffing and puffing and trying to catch my breath.

16. Wyatt is due on April 8th - I really hope that I make it to my due date or go past it for teaching purposes. I know I might be miserable and really want him out of me before then, but I really really NEED him to be on time!

17. I would love for him to come on April 7th - since I am August 7th that would just be fun to share a 7 with him! Plus my dad is a 7 as well as my uncle Brady and my cousin Brooke.

18. I can't wait to see Jacob as a father......brings tears to my eyes (no surprise there) thinking about it because I know he is going to be amazing with him and love him unconditionally forever! And Jacob will teach him all that is "man" - hunting, fishing, being respectful to ladies, maybe how to get a beer out of the frig, etc. Hopefully he will teach him how to cook as well :)

19. I am very much looking forward to spending 5 months at home with Wyatt. I love the fact that I get summers off and will be able to spend that time with him. Again, another blessing from God!

20. I am already trying to come up with an extremely creative 1st birthday party idea! Sad to admit it but I am......oops.

21. I am excited to have Wyatt dedicated at our church - First Baptist Conroe.

22. Wyatt is going to love his Aunt April because she is going to spoil him rotten! I can't wait to see her as an Aunt - she is going to be amazing.

23. Wyatt is going to wear the same outfit home from the hospital that Jacob did 26 years ago. I love that my mother-in-law gave it to me! I think that is so incredibly special.

24. I can't wait to dress Wyatt up in all maroon and take him to his first Aggie baseball game. Let's just hope our Aggies have a long-lived season that ends at the College World Series.

25. I am out of control excited, anxious, overwhelmed with emotion at the thought of holding and kissing him for the first time. Yes, I am getting teary eyed : ) I just can't help it.

Wyatt - I already love you more than I ever thought I would! Your daddy and I can not wait for you to join us. Get ready to be loved and cherished and possibly licked by three dogs from the moment we bring you home! Keep growing strong for us and we will see you in April!

Trying Something New....

I need to learn how to put picture collages on my blog. Anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to create collages?

Here is my attempt on putting up a collage - I created it from kodakgallery.com and then saved it to my desktop - surely there is a better way. PLEASE SHARE IF YOU KNOW HOW!!

In case you are wondering "who are these people?" These people are my family that live in Virginia! My extremely young and gorgeous aunt Melissa and her husband (also known as my Uncle!) Brady. Then we have my three cousins - Zach (13), Brooke (11) and Matt (9). Oh yes the fury child is Lilly! Brady is in the Air Force and he is currently in Florida for some training so Melissa and the kids loaded up and road tripped it down to Florida for some fun in the sun and also the beautiful white sand beaches! Who knew the Gulf was so pretty!!

Looking through her pictures really makes me want to go back to Florida - at least to the panhandle! The beaches and water there are just gorgeous! Maybe Wyatt and parents will make an appearance there this summer :)

Naked Fireman Calendar 2009

Jacob sent me an email this morning titled "The Naked Fireman Calendar 2009" and I have to share it with you guys!!! You better believe that Wyatt will be posing for a similar picture and I can't wait! Love it, love it, love it :)

Emily, "The Professional Clock Maker"

Woo-hoo!! Erin went to pick up our pottery today that we made at Kate's bachelorette party and she took a picture of my clock and emailed it to me. I love, love, love it and I can't wait to put it in the nursery! Wyatt is going to love it to pieces even if he can't tell time on it for quite a while.

Here is my masterpiece...........

I like to think of the imperfections as "character"! This clock as a lot of character and I love it. I am very ready to go back and make more pottery. There was this really cute cookie jar that I would really like to decorate.

Thanks Erin for going to get the pottery!!
