My little hero

Check out my little hero ready for action! Our neighbor in Colorado and dear family friend , Nicki, sent Wyatt this fire truck. So of course we had to do a mini photo shoot this morning. How cute is my little fireman?!

Mr. Relaxed and Easy Going.........I love the expression on his face.

Max had to give Wyatt a few kisses. I try to limit Max kisses but he sneaks them in all the time. Max loves his baby!

Being a rescue hero is hard work - biiiiigggggg yawn : ) If I had let him he would have taken a nap on the fire truck in the shade

We have had a very busy day here in CS. After our fire truck photo shoot, we loaded up the dogs and took them to the dog park here in town. We were there for a few hours and Wyatt slept in his car seat the entire time. He then cuddled up on his April - yes he is flashing a Gig'em in his sleep. He is so smart!

After the dog park, I gave the dogs a bath and Wyatt hung out with Mia in his swing.

Then nap time......

Summer is here........time to go swimming : )

Wyatt and I are in CS for the weekend visiting Mia, Papa Sam and Aunt April. Jacob is working this weekend so we decided why not take another road trip. We thought it would be fun to take Wyatt for his first swim. Here he is modeling his swimsuit top and his first ball cap...........

Then we loaded the boy up in the Baby Bjorn and walked down the street to my parents' neighbors house for a quick dip in their pool.

Wyatt fell asleep on the walk!

Sleeping boy is modeling his swimsuit for you guys (never mind that he is asleep).

Not such a fan of his first pool experience - not only was my sweet boy very sleepy but the water was a bit cold.

We will try the swimming thing another time but for now a nice cozy place on Mia's shoulder is all the boy needs!

Mr. 7 Week Old

Wyatt Aaron is 7 weeks old! Actually he is 7 weeks old and 1 day because I am late getting this posted but who's counting?! Here is our little 7 week old man in his Astros tee shirt - we won't discuss how horrible the 'Stros are right now but the shirt is super cute : )

We are all smiles these days. I think the sweetest thing in the world is getting Wyatt out of bed in the morning and he just looks up at me and smiles - melts my heart every time! There might be a few tears involved, surprise surprise!

So how did we celebrate Wyatt's 7 week old birthday you might be asking..........and the answer is we went to the doctor to get his first round of shots. Poor baby! There were most defintely tears involved on both Wyatt and mommy's end. Thank goodness Jacob was there to hold the little guy because I lost it - yes I am a huge wimp.

What a rough and tiring day for the 7 week old...........this was our attempt at tummy time last night! It sure is rough having to get shots.

Wyatt's playdate with Owen

Wyatt and Owen had a nice little "play date" Wednesday night when we took dinner over to Leslie and Brad. Wyatt did get a little fussy at the end but I think it was because he didn't want to leave Owen! These little guys are 6 weeks apart which right now is a huge difference but a year from now they will be running around like crazy little mad men!

This is Owen's sweet puppy Shelby licking his little feet - which reminded me of a picture we have of Max licking Wyatt's feet (see below). Little boys and their puppies - too cute!

Wyatt's 5-week photo shoot

As promised, here are a few pictures from Wyatt's 5-week old photo session. I loved them all and I really had to restrain myself from buying every single picture she took! She put together a music DVD of some of the pictures and I was crying watching it (surprise, surprise). My little man is growing right in front of my eyes and I still can't believe he is here and is my son. I love him so much and can't imagine my life without him in it. The Lord sure is good!
I hope you enjoy them half as much as I do.................

Wyatt's new buddy

Wyatt has a new running buddy!! My dear friend Leslie and her husband Brad welcomed their precious son into this world last Wednesday night - let me introduce you to Mr. Owen : )

I am so excited because all of my girlfriends are having little boys - and they are going to be such great friends! First, Ashley had Caleb, I had Wyatt, Leslie had Owen, Mandi will be having Cooper in late August! So many little boys - I love it!

April's Birthday and Memorial Day fun

Wyatt traveled to Mia and Papa Sam's for the first time this weekend to help celebrate April's birthday and Memorial Day. We had a very nice relaxing time in CS and its always hard to come home because I love the B/CS area so much. I will let the pictures do the talking on all that went down this weekend........................

We cheered on the 'Stros - even though it didn't do much good : (

My 88 year old grandfather did some yard work - gotta love a John Deere.

We had some birthday fajitas and then sang Happy Birthday, ate dessert and opened presents (my grandmother's birthday was earlier in May but we hadn't celebrated her birthday yet)

The Birthday girl and her favorite little Monkey ; )

We attempted to go watch a band play at Lake Bryan but we got there a tad bit late and there weren't any tables for us to sit at - so our group hung outside and listened to music and had a few drinks.

And this was our first night out without Wyatt - if you look close enough you can see the band behind us! It was nice to get out but I really did miss the little guy. I kept checking my phone waiting for my mom to call and say come home he won't go to sleep - but he was a perfect angel for his Mia! Yes I know, I need to get some sun.......my sister points it out all the time.

Riley doing a little dancing on the table.....notice I didn't say table dancing.

Birthday girl and two of her favorite girls!

And time to head home and put these little munchkins to bed - good times with the family celebrating April's birthday!

First trip to the fire station

My parents and I headed to College Station this past Friday for my sister's birthday and Memorial day weekend. We first went by Melanie's to view the pictures from Wyatt's photo session (which I will post very soon). Fairly soon after getting back in the car to resume our trip, Wyatt had a pretty big blowout in the diaper and we needed to stop to change it - luckily we were right by the fire station that Jacob was working at that day so we made a nice little pit stop - see daddy at work and get a diaper change. Hence, Wyatt's first trip to the fire station!

Hanging out with dad on the recliner - Wyatt was really relaxed after his diaper change!

Jacob was talking to my dad and Wyatt was so incredibly relaxed and listening to the guys talk.

This is the first of many trips to the station - I can't wait for him to be big enough to play on the trucks with dad!

Random pics of my little pumpkin

My precious little man is just growing like crazy. I took him to the doctor this week to have a place looked at on his head and little Wyatt is up to 10 lbs 8 oz and is 22.75 inches long! Such a big boy. We go back next Thursday for his first round of shots - Jacob will be going with us because I am not sure mommy can handle the shots.

Wyatt will be 6 weeks tomorrow - where has the time gone, seriously?!

The weather has been so enjoyable this week so Wyatt and I have been trying to hang out outside as much as we can. Yes, I take the bouncy chair everywhere!

Prior to bath time loving on his Karsen.

Bath time! Not sure if it is inappropriate to post a picture of his little boy parts - oops.

One Hoffart + Two Turners

The Hoffart family had a fabulous Sunday this past weekend. It started off by Wyatt sleeping almost 6 hours straight! Then followed by Jacob coming home from work and getting into bed for a nice long nap - meaning I was able to leash up the dogs and go for a nice long walk while Jacob "watched" Wyatt. Luckily for him, Wyatt was also sleeping. After my walk, I showered and got my boys up and we met Jacob's family for lunch at PF Changs - one of our favorite restaurants. Wyatt hung out in his car seat for a very short time at lunch and then was passed around the table. His Aunt Stacey got to hold him a bunch and he loved it! He then went to sleep in his Nana's arms. From lunch, the three of us ventured up to Willis to hang out with the Turners. Who are the Turners you might be asking yourself........well, the Turners are Casey and Erica. Casey is also a fireman and he and Jacob have worked together for several years (I actually don't know how long they have known each other......it was before my time!) Jacob has the utmost respect for Casey and we both really enjoy hanging out with them. Anyway, to make a long story short, the Turners welcomed their twins (Hailey and Mason) into this world a week after Wyatt was born. We went and saw them in the hospital a few days after they were born but we haven't seen them since and Wyatt hadn't met them yet either. So we were due a trip to visit the Turners and let our babies "hang out" with each other. These three will be hanging out a lot together, their dads are already planning "Daddy Daycare", trips to watch the 'Stros play, and of course dove hunting in San Angelo. Casey and Jacob are both wonderful fathers already - there is something about watching a man change a diaper! Just kidding : )

So here we have 1 Hoffart + 2 Turners otherwise known as a Turner sandwich.....okay I will stop now!

(left to right) Hailey, Wyatt and Mason

We literally just stood over the pack-n-play staring at the babies for a good bit of time - watching them just stare at each other! It was really cute. Mason and Wyatt were the most interested in one another.
I had to put this one on here because I caught Mason smiling! Talk about arms and legs moving all over the place.

Mason was telling Wyatt not to mess with his sister or else!

How cute is this.......the Turner twins all swaddled up for nap time.........just adorable.

Sweet girl Hailey just hanging out in her bouncy chair.

Hopefully we didn't wear out our welcome at the Turner house - we had a wonderful time and it was great for me to be out of the house most of the day!
Two random shots of Wyatt.......
I just love this little outfit - doesn't he look so incredibly handsome in blue?!

Doing some serious staring on his play mat - precious little boy!
