So, it's been a crazy time-what else is new in the world of a mother! I am not trying to feel sorry for myself, I am trying to make an excuse!
Well, the summer started off fantastic, I was able to go to Paris with my sisters and a couple of sister-in-laws! We had a great time. We rented a villa, after much time search for the right one, and I think we did a pretty good job. We were a couple of blocks from the Arc de Triumph! We would get up at the crack of dawn-7 women taking showers- and we would leave to house, making it our goal to visit the top ten bakeries in Paris. I think the bakeries were fabulous especially the macaroons-which is NOT what it sounds like. We walked so much that we did not gain any wieght on this trip-yeah! But you can bet that I ate and ate and ate. I have to thank Melissa for getting us all moving on this sisters trip!
While I was on my trip, John was bravely staying at home-with a kidney stone! Poor guy! He is now a proud papa of a .4mm kidney stone. Sitting on our bathroom counter! It sleeps during the night and doesn't give us any trouble now!
Beau was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes while we were out in Arizona for the Family Reunion. That was something. He is dealing with it. He is still in the Honeymoon phase-which is that the Pancreas is still working, hasn't completely shut down yet! Once it does, we are looking to put him on the Pump! (the things you learn).
We had a great time in Wyoming/Utah and Arizonia this summer. I even thought that is would not be so bad to move back to Salt Lake. Yes, it's ok, don't faint yet... I am still in GA. and expect to be here for the long haul.
School is in full force. Everyone is adjusting, I am not. I am missing sleep and I am pretty grumpy. Why am I missing school? I am one of three Seminary Teachers in our ward! I am enjoying the material, the kids-most days- and gaining a better understanding of the New Testement. I am not happy about the lack of sleep.
Houston is in football, which is going well. He had a huge game last Saturday. He sacked the QB twice! We told him if he did not get any hits, he would have to run 3 laps and do 5 min. of UP/Downs! It worked. He was a totally different player!
I am still playing tennis. I had a match a couple of weeks ago. Lost. But I did manage to hit a lob right back into the opponents stomache, causing her to fall back and throw her racket. It made me happy! Bad I know! But what can I say? The kids are taking lessons too. They like it sometimes-I think when they win they really love it. They take after their mother!
I have forgotten at least 5 appointments, activities or playdates, but that's normal? Right? In the last 3 days??? Did I mention it's crazy?
I think I've caught you up on things!
See I really was there!
My sister and I took a trip to Paris!

Ice Cream or Frozen Custard?
My blog is looking a lot better-Thank you Lindsey!
If you have a chance to hit the Bon Jovi Concert-you need to go! Lindsey, Melissa (friend not sister) and myself attended the concert and it was great! He played for over two and half hours, just Bon Jovi. Daughtrey was the openning act-which was fabulous as well. I think that Jon and I conected--so what if I was up in nose bleed section, but I am pretty sure that our eyes contected and he could feel the love!! Or maybe it was Lindsey's love-I don't know, but I think she may feel a wee bit stronger for our boy than I do...
As you may or may not know, I have been very sad to have left PA.--I of course miss my friends, school for the kids and just the whole Northeastern feel, but I really miss my Zwahlens! On our trip back to PA. The family hit Zwahlens every day, and sometimes 2 or 3 times a day!! I can't convey the enjoyment I feel when eating an Avalanche or just a plain vanilla cone! So, I want to open a shop here! So what is it-ice cream or frozen custard? I think my current area is in need of a really great frozen custard type dessert! Let me know what you think!

So I am not doing so well with the blogging thing! It looks like I am good for once a month! My life is not that interesting nor does anything happen around here.
I played my first Tennis match. I started tennis lesson in August and joined a team last month, as an alternate. I have never played tennis prior to the lessons. So you can imagine how being an alternate is a bonus. I don't have to be counted on each week and I can ease into the team thing slowly. I figure I should be good to play in about a year or two. It's pretty funny to watch me play. My first match was really fun. I was happy to see that I did not lose all my serves. I was about at 50%. We won the match 6-2, 6-1. So it was a positive thing. I do enjoy it and try to play as much as I can.
This is sounding so boring. We just got home from spring break and it was a lot of fun. The whole family drove up to Washington DC and spent the day there, walking and walking, which was a good thing, it made us all ready for bed! Then we drove to Philadelphia and saw our friends there. It was great to see them. I do miss the old neighborhood and all our friends. We continued on our journey to NYC. We had a great time there. The walking was not a welcomed activity. But what do you do. We went for a helicopter ride, which was funny because Andrea is so afraid of heights. But she was brave and was a trooper and tried it and LOVED it probably the most! It lasted all of 7 minutes, but it was fun.
I think my favorite part was hanging out with friends at Zwahlens eating my favorite avalanache and talking to my favorite people! I think I put on 5 pounds easily. We had ice cream every day, sometimes more than onces a day!
We have only six weeks of school left! Yeah! I hate homework and all that stuff. My kids are trunky for summer,. every morning I hear the same thing-"I hate school" "I'm not going to school" so it is really fun to wake the beautiful sleeping children on week days! Oh the joys of school! The state school tests are coming up and that is crazy in and of its self. The things a parent has to do to make sure that their child is prepared for a test!
Well I have a child melting down as we speak, because she doesn't want to do her homework, I better get going so she can get it done!

I have a computer of my own!!
I have a computer now! Yeah. Although I really don't know how to make it work for me. I will be asking my kids help on this, as they know the really cool things I can do with a computer, but, then again, they may only steer me to the nick.com or cartoon.com sites! Maybe I will ask Danielle, though that may only get me a Myspace.com account, which I think I am not ready for that! So, that leaves me on my own. My blogger friends need to help me out here!
So please HELP!!! I can use your help. Do I sound disperate?
I am going to try and put some pictures on this site, we will see. Wish me luck on my coming of age in the 21st century!

The best month of the Year!
January-the best month of the year! Why you ask? Well it just so happens 43 years ago, the writer of this blog was born into this world-making it even a more wonderful place to be! Just kidding.-about making it more wonderful.
January is the best month because everyone has set goals and resolved to be better. I, myself, have decided to join the masses, and yes, I have started a diet. This last year and half I have put on a few extra pounds and it is time to shed these fat blobs of fatty tissue once and for all! ( I may have said that last year too. I can't remember) My bike is missing me, my legs are weak and I am disgusted by the inability to stay on the bike for more than a few miles. Me, Catherine Hunt, who has biked 100 miles in 5 plus hours-can not ride more than an 1 hour without my lungs burning, my legs shaking and my heart beating way too fast! So, January is here, I am ready to get back into shape and lose these stubborn pounds! Watch out kids-I may be a little cranky for the next month while I get used to not eating my sweets.
The kids have been out of school for the last two weeks- AAHHH you may say, but you know what? I have really enjoyed being home with them. They have been fun. We have played basketball. Beau, Allie and me against John, Houston and Andrea. We are split with the wins. We have played Tennis, we have been roller skating at the local Sparkles (Beau is bugging me to go back) , we have been to the movies and we have been playing guitar hero and dance, dance revolution. We have had good family time. I am going to hate getting back into the school schedule. I thinks its getting Houston and Andrea on the bus at 7:10 AM!! yuck!
Well-Happy January-good luck with you resolutions!!

Christmas time
Can you believe it- it's Christmas in two days! Are you ready? I actually think I am! This year has been soo much better than last. I have gotten back into the swing of the Christmas spirit and made a few goodies, passed out neighbor treats, sent out Family Christmas, and have gotten the kids what they actually wanted-no underwear this year! We through out our tree last year, as it was deamed broken by John and he promised to get a new tree-bigger and I insisted-pre-lit. The house was decorated and the stocking hung, but we couldn't find a tree. Beau fought to buy a artifical tree, while I was thinking of having a live tree. I mean it's been a long time since we did the live tree thing. Beau was so insistant on an artificial tree, that I asked him why-He attributed to the live tree his worst Christmas EVER! He did not want the same fate. So an artifical tree it was- it was not just Beau, we got a screaming deal on a 9 ft. pre-lit tree.
Maybe I'll take picture and get some on this blog-but as an illiterate computer user, it could prove too difficult for me! I may have to get help---JOHN!!??
Peace out!

I am computer illiterate
I am so computer illiterate. I almost broke the all time no no and used Lindsey's whole name. Anyway, Lindsey had to help me set this whole blog thing up and then slowly walk me through the steps of signing up. It's sad. Hopefully one day I just might get the google thing! Who knows. Lets us pray!
