The Kanooth Times

My older sister had a little girl in November. Savannah and Micah were excited to have a cousin their age. I have enjoyed talking with my sister about our babies and hope our children enjoy eachother in the future. Here are their latest pictures.

I really do have 2 peas in a pod. And they are the cutest ever!!

Every Friday I to the gym really early for a class. Today we were running a little late so I quickly feed both babies and placed them on my pillow. I then went downstairs to eat a quick breakfast and warm up the car. When I came back in the room I witnessed the cutest thing ever!! Savannah, was holding hands with Micah. There fingers were interlocked and they were looking at eachother. They were both staring at there fingers with wide eyes and moving there hands up and down. As I went to pick up Savannah, her fingers stayed locked with Micah's. They both didn't want to let go of each other. It was the cutest and sweetest thing ever.

We love our twins. They are smiling, laughing, cooing, kicking, and cuddling so much more. Leif and I love to watch them sleep in their crib. We love cuddles in the morning and cuddles at night. The twins are so much fun the more active they get. I love being a mom. Leif loves being a Dad. And we love our special children.

My husband grew out his beard for one week before New Years. Then on Sunday he came out of the bathroom with a surprise on his face. I never knew how handsome he was!!!! When Micah saw Daddy's new look, he wanted to look like that too. So after a few minutes in the bathroom my men were ready to say hello to the world.

January 3rd would have been Kaden's 2nd birthday! For his birthday I made him a "Fish" Birthday cake along with a nice dinner (homemade soup, rolls, and fresh fruit). It was a nice family dinner. We love you little Kaden!! Can't wait till we can see you again.

It is 2011!!! The exciting thing about 2011 is Leif graduates!!!! I can't believe how fast medical school has gone. It felt like just yesterday we were unloading our U-Haul and walking around campus. New Years was a blast this year because we and the other 4th years got together to celebrate! We ate, talked, watched a movie and then brought in the New Year together.
While together we talked about all that has happened in our 4 years of school. It has been a long but fun road. We are all excited to graduate but are sad that we will be leaving each other. The match is coming up in February, and we are all anticipating where we will go.

For New Years Eve our twins went to the Gymnastic gym for their first time ever.
With help they were both able to jump on the trampoline. Savannah liked to jump around and be held by her Daddy (but not during the picture). Micah liked to grab hold of the rings. I could tell they are both going to be good gymnast.


After Christmas our twins went swimming for their first time ever. With help, they were both able to float on their backs and do the backstroke. Savannah liked to drink the water and blow bubbles. Micah enjoyed kicking his feet and floating on his back. I could tell that they are both going to be really good swimmers.

Over Christmas break our twins got to go rock climbing for their first time ever. With help, they were both able to do a couple of moves. Micah held onto the rock and wouldn't let go. Savannah tired to suck the rock! I could tell that they are both going to be great climbers.
